Room was very small with very little storage for clothes/bags. Furniture was very angular steel and a few bumps and stubs were a result of very little room to move around! We found beds were not very comfortable.

Room was very clean and bathroom excellent. Accommodation has a 'Guest Kitchen' which was well equipped. We were unable to use it as it was fully used by other guests. Well stocked supermarket about 100m away. Directly opposite train station (1.6 Euro's/5 mins to Florence - but trains not always regular/frequent, so need to check timetables carefully). Our room was at rear and was very quiet.

I shared a room with 5 guys, i know i signed up for mixed gender room, but I was still a bit much... I personally didnt struggle with this, but I heard people struggle with falling asleep, as we were total 6 in the room so very often someone comes in and leaves again.. Sleeping in the double floored bed may be disturbing for the person in "the same bed" when someone enters the bed (especially for the one at the bottom).. The lockerrooms under the bed could have been bigger for bigger suitcases... But generally thing were good. I also wished the hostel was more social, and that you could have mabye made some more arrangements for socializing with other residents who were keen on socializing and maybe exploring the city together..None of the people i lived with seemed keen on talking to each other exept for one guy i ended up talking to the night i was leaving...

It was a bit of a pain having to get the train in and out of the city each day but it was only 1.70 euros for each journey, the alternative was a 40 + minute walk in the heat.

Lots of space, the terrace is great for hiding from the sun. The hostel is straight across from the train station. The staff were great, especially Davide, he was very friendly and helpful and made great coffee.

The noise from the common area was banging through walls and floor. We had the family room on first floor. Luckily we were too tired from all the walking so it didn’t bother whole gang.

Across the road from the train station so location is amazing. Also a short walk to the bus stop which takes you to the city.

There was a slight confusion with our booking. We had booked and paid for 3, but when we went to check-in they said our booking was only for 2. Upon seeing the booking confirmation on my phone, they contacted the tech team and tried to sort things out. Though finally we got the 3 beds, we got separated, and since we were travelling together and had packed things in eachother's bags, it was kinda inconvenient.

The showers didn’t drain properly and water pooled at the bottom - I stayed in two different rooms and this occurred in both. But, not a big deal!

Loved this hostel! All of the staff were welcoming and available, the location to Campo di Marte station was excellent and only a 25 min walk to the city centre. The rooms were super comfortable as were the bathrooms.

The biggest plus is that the hostel is conveniently located near the station, which enhances connectivity to various places in the city. The staff is friendly and very helpful.

Very poor equipped kitchen ( a general rule for A&O ), same awful shower gel and soap that they use everywhere. Don't store expensive food in the refrigerator, there are thieves ( also general problem for A&O ).

It's just a standard A&O but still new. If you visit one you already know what to expect from others. Good location if you want to visit other places but not that good if you are interested only of Florence as it's not in the historical centre. Wide showers and wc, comfortable bed, good wifi, enough water, good air-conditioning. It's fine.

The room temperature would sometimes be too warm and sometimes too cold. Also the beds were a little noisy, but other than that it was all fine.

The staff was very welcoming, specially Davide on the night shift. Rooms are comfortable, the private bathroom was great (one part had shower + sink, and the other one toilet + sink). The fact that it's not that close from the main attractions might be negative for some people, but for me it was a great way of discovering the city, the walk to the city center is easy and with beautiful views.
