Great place and quit town. We stayed on our way for 1 night and it had everything we needed- and very comfy bed. nice and clean room and a bath which we great! there is a cute balcony and a very basic kitchen (just for drinks and snacks). If we stayed for longer we would have looked for a place with a full kitchen. but for 1 or 2 nights it was great, the host very nice and everything we needed! thanks

We liked everything. Even the breakfast that you could make by yourself. If the house is fulltime booked it maybe can be more noisy, we were with two couples and it was fine.

I loved the decor, very tasteful and everything of good quality and authentically Italian. Lovely original paintings in the lounge area. Lovely view from the bedroom window, everything sparkling clean, beautiful kitchen. Great attention to detail. Breakfast was not included officially but we were offered breakfast free of charge. The bus stop was a fair distance from the house and up a hill but Alessandro picked us up when we arrived and dropped us off when we left. His young son helped to translate about bus tickets for us and we were made to feel very welcome. We were allowed to make tea or coffee in the kitchen too. It was warm in the room as the weather had got a bit chilly, and the kitchen had a wood burning stove which was lit the day we left.

There is no elevator to the second floor.

We were a party of 8 traveling together. It is located within a neighborhood of Mamoiada on the second floor. Very comfortable 5 rooms, overlooking the whole village with a beautiful mountain background. Alessandro the owner was very friendly and helpful with his two sons, David and Michael, translating from Italian to English. A comfortable living room with sofas. A washing machine is available. A nice backyard with plants and a place to dry washings. A fully equipped kitchen where you can cook. No breakfast but some cakes, cookies, jams and rusks are provided. Parking is within the premises.

We loved everything!

The quality and the comfort found in this place is exceptional. More so is the host Alessandro and his family. The service and commitment this establishment offers is second to none. This genuine family became instant friends and helped us to discover the best part of Sardinia, the small villages found in the interior and the people who inhabite them who are so eager to share their unique culture and traditions!

The location of AbbaNive is picturesque, overlooking the historic town, with a small vineyard behind the house. The house is tastefully constructed with local white granite stone and beautiful outdoor seating areas. The kitchen and bathroom were clean and well equipped. We sat outside on the terrace, enjoyed our breakfast, and appreciated the beautiful view from Alessandro’s place. We will definitely be back on our next visit to Mamoiada.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, they suggested some local places we should visit as well and they were worth to visit, the hosts in the morning even offered us some snacks which were not included in the price we paid for but still gave us something, The area is very quiet and you can have panoramic views from your room since the accommodation is on high grounds. Within the premises there is a private parking lot which was very convenient for us. The common areas of the premises are highly finished and very well maintained. Highly recommended if you're searching for a quiet area with views to enjoy with your family and friends.

The Wifi was unstable, didn’t work half of the time. The house had a common kitchen which was poorly equipped, e.g a sharp knife, a pan and/or a pot were missing.

Our room was vast, clean and very modern, especially the bathroom. The house had an excellent view on the village, as well as a large parking space. The host was extremely helpful, provided everything we asked for.

AbbaNive is a real gem in the beautiful mountain village of Mamoiada. Exploring Sardinia’s inland villages is essential to know the history, culture and beauty of the island. AbbaNive is the perfect place from which to explore. A beautiful modern apartment with shared living area but very private bedrooms, we found everything we needed for our stay. It is situated high on the hill above the town but easily walkable to restaurants, museums etc in this lovely village. We recommend Su Tapiu restaurant. It is a five star restaurant tucked in the mountains, family run, phenomenal food wow!!! We loved our stay at AbbaNive and recommend highly!
