There was no kettle in the room, which was quite odd. Sounded like someone doing repair work in the night in the room adjacent, which may not have been a part of the guesthouse.

A great location in the centre of Manarola, so no need to carry heavy luggage up some of the steep hills from the train station. The bed was comfortable and the room was fairly large. Silvia was quick to respond on Whatsapp, although we did not meet in person.

AFFITTACAMERE DAVIDE offers a cosy room in a fantastic location in Manarola. Tucked away just enough from the main street to not be bothered by the noise it is exactly what it is advertised it is. We had no troubles checking in and enjoyed our stay here. Note that there is only a fan, no airconditioning and it can get quite warm. Nevertheless this was clearly stated and we were prepared.

Wifi was non existent

Love how the property is in the heart of town. A minute or two walk to the train station to allow exploration. Just off of the main drag so it wasn’t too noisy during the night if you left the window open. The ‘mom’ who checked me and and out was a wonderful lady. So kind and very flexible in allowing me to leave my luggage once I checked out. Instructions given to find the place was easy and the host was reachable via WhatsApp. - so convenient. Only downside of this place is that the wifi doesn’t work at all . I was there for 3 days and didn’t work once. So hopefully you have cell data while you are here or don’t care about internet. Overall great value for the price, so can’t rely complain about the wifi.

There is no AC in the apartment so the apartment got pretty hot especially at day time. In the night we kept the windows open and the fan on so it was okay. The wifi connection sometimes worked but sometimes not but that wasn’t a problem for us. The building next to us was being renovated and on Monday morning they started a big noise so we couldn’t sleep after 6.30 am (even though I was using earplugs). There’s also light curtains so I recommend to take sleeping mask with you if light in the morning makes you wake up easily.

The apartment was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Location is perfect. The woman who let us in the apartment was very kind and helpful. It was okay to sleep even though there’s isn’t AC and it was really warm days (+30’C) - the fan is on pretty good and quiet.

The room was decorated nicely with a coastal theme. It had a nice bath, a small refrigerator and was quiet with a very convenient location. Very comfortable for a three night stay.

Lovely place although it is up some stairs but then everything in Manarola is like that. The woman who looks after the place helped me lug my suitcase up and down stairs galore.
