One of the places we visited during our motorcycle trip across Sicily was Ragusa. We spent the night at San Filippo Neri, located on a quiet street in Ragusa Ibla. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, well-maintained, and equipped with closed garage for the motorcycle. Our host, Davide, was incredibly kind and welcoming. He greeted us in person, showed us everything, and helped us park our motorcycle in a garage just a few steps away from the entrance. He also gave us valuable recommendations on how to make the most of our short time in Ragusa. A big thank you to Davide for the warm hospitality and for making us feel at home. Ragusa Ibla is truly beautiful!

It was so lovely to receive such a genuinely warm welcome from David when we arrived. He was extremely helpful giving us directions around the town and information on how to find places. The appartment is in the historic centre of Ibla Ragusa and a few minutes walk away from the Cathedral and main square. It was very clean and comfortable with a balcony onto the narrow street. In the morning we were greeted with traditional home good sweet bread. He even gave us a lift to the bus station with our bags which was much appreciated by us.

Everything was great.

This was a beautiful little apartment stay for one night. The host lives at the property just in the next building, so the checkin process is smooth and easy. Parking is easy nearby, less than a 5 minute walk from the property. AC worked great. Nice shower and bathroom. Everything super clean. Bed was comfortable. The location is perfect for a nice walk through town. Quiet street for a good night of sleep.

Everything was perfect. Walking distance from centro istorico. Cosy, spacious and beautiful rooms. Davide (the owner) warm welcomed us, gave us a lot of useful information about the city and the “must” sightseeing. He farewelled us with coffee, local products and an extremely positive vibe!!!!! We definitely recommend this guest house and it will surely host us again on our next trip!!!!!

1. Great location in Ragusa Ibla. 2. Nice and clean room with a comfortable bed and a comfortable bathroom. 3. A sweet little balcony with a view on a picturesque winding street. 4. A wonderful host, Davide, who was very helpful throughout our stay. 5. The homemade cakes made by Davide's Mamma. These were absolutely delicious! 6. Additional bonus: Davide told us about a local religious event which takes place only once a year and it happened to be on the night of our stay. Thanks to that information we took part in that event which made our stay unforgettable (it doesn't matter if a person is religious or not, some events are just worth experiencing). We plan to visit Ragusa again and we would love to stay in that place again.

David was the perfect host who met us outside the accomodation, gave us tips, brought cake in the morning and even gave us a ride to the train station the next day. The room incorporated a natural stone wall and was uniquely beautiful. Highly recommended.

Welcoming host. Clear instructions. Came to meet us to show us the way to the apartment. Newly fitted out. Up some stairs. Short 10 minute walk to Centre of Ibla. If I could give more than 10 I would. The apartment is on the beautiful old street just 3-5 min from the entrance to Ragusa Ibla. If you travel by car I couldn't imagine a better location for the stay. You have a free parking space 3-5 min from the apartment which is almost impossible for Ragusa Ibla. Davide was waiting for us in the parking to help us with our bags. He prepared a map of the city and gave us all the possible information that we need to walk, and enjoy the city. In the morning we got coffee and typical Sicilian sweets as a present. The apartment was clean and romantic, the best accommodation we had on our 15 days road trip to Sicily.

The twin bed was so uncomfortable that it was hard for my brother to sleep. He is a larger guy and the support is really for folks under 100 lbs or kids. if you just sit on one bed your butt hits the support under it.
