We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

NetherlandsThe property was tiny but more than enough! The bed was really amazing and comfy! And the room was really nicely decorated. A lot of charging points which was good. So yeah overall really happy with the apartment, with a nice clean private bathroom as well. The host was also helpful with check-in, even though we arrived late - so thank you. Location was perfect, about halfway between the harbour and the train station with lots of nearby shops.

United KingdomCleanliness can be improved, even our host said the cleaning was not great and took out a mop when we checked in. There was no toilet paper or body wash/shampoo when we checked in, wifi did not work while we were there, we were advised it was due to the rain. The air conditioner also stopped working. Nice shower with good water pressure, would be great if there were hooks to hang clothes in the toilet. We could hear street noises throughout the night, perhaps as we visited close to Easter weekend. It would be good if there was soundproofing and blackout curtains.
Selene was a friendly and responsive host who offered daily cleaning of the room. Comfortable bed, great location, good shower. Just a note it’s about 12 minute walk to La Spezia train station, and the area felt safe even when walking late at night. Lots of restaurants in the area

AustraliaHot!! AC was exceptionally noisy and even woke up during the night sweating as the exhaust hose had disconnected so hot air was circulating in the room. Managed to fix it in the middle of the night. Shower was ok. Internet didn’t work. Apparently they were “doing work on the line” …for 3 days…

United KingdomWe couldn't lock the bathroom window and the building's front door didn't lock either. I didn't feel very secure in the apartment. The kitchen was very old and had broken drawers. The communal area in the building wasn't nice or clean.
The room and bed were clean. The owner replied quickly to messages and always tried to help.
