Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I can complain only about the mattress it wasn't that comfy and I had some back pain especially after the first night. May be it's time to get a new one..
It's a very nice place. Friendly host and very welcoming.. Good breakfasts and delicious dinner.

it’s literally in the middle of nowhere….the nearest city/cafetteria/restaurant is about 6km away

The owner was most accommodating. The rooms were immaculate and the food was homemade with products from the farm. The hotel was decorated beautifully and simply. It was a gem of a place to stay.

Place was perfect beautiful
What a great way to see Venice very easy to get around. Take the train in and out and relax in a beautiful farm house where the hosts cook amazing food!!! we had a great day in Venice only to return to some phenomenal cooking!!!! Thank you so much for having us !!

The A/C didn’t work so well in our room. And also the shower itself was not the best. The pool is small, and there was all the time very crowded with kids.
Very friendly host, that makes you feel at home in the second you arrive. The location is very suitable if you plan to visit Venice. And the animals are so cute!

The bed wasn’t very comfortable.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location, easy to get to the airport and to Venice. Great breakfast! Appreciated the recommendations from the host.

Beautiful setting. Very nice comfortable room, immaculately clean. Wonderful staff. Nadia and Greta were friendly, helpful and made our stay with them extra enjoyable. We had fantastic dinners which further enhanced our stay.

It is very close to the airport Marco Polo, that's why I booked it. It is less than 10 minutes away, but it is very expensive to get there, more expensive than staying in Venice.

It was exactly what we were looking for in a quiet country setting but close enough to get to the major venues.
Everything!! Tania made us feel right at home. We didn't hire a rental car to get round, but she managed to get Mr Willi to drop us off and pick us up no matter how late. The atmosphere and food were great.

So beautiful place, full of green, natural with lovely owner. And the breakfast was excellent. Relatively close to the train station to Venezia (4.8km).

Having a car is a must, since it is quite remote.
The place is very cosy. The hosts are kind and warm people. I was allowed to check in early and stay a while after checkout.

You need a car to move easily but it's normal for a residence in the countryside
Great place to spend some time in the countryside, I really enjoyed my stay there, in particular: -comfortable, wide and bright room (great orthopedic pillows and mattress) -spacious garden; -the residence is close (having a car) to a big shopping mall and a city to get a bus or a train; -great breakfast with home-made products and friendly and helpful staff. Could be a great choise even for middle or long term stay considering the availability of apartments for a convenient price.
