How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Verified reviewAmazing stay! Beautiful estate with stunning views from the balcony. Rooms are spacious with super comfortable beds. The family and staff were incredibly friendly and gave us great restaurant tips. Delicious breakfast and a fantastic winery tour with excellent wines. We’ll definitely be back!

Verified reviewThe room was comfortable, the breakfast choice was good with lots of healthy options and the views from the location were fantastic. The staff were extremely helpful and the customer service was excellent.
It is not really a dislike but programming a SAT nav to find it is not easy a phone map is better.

Verified reviewIf you want to experience this part of the Piemonte region at a location close to the nearby villages La Morra, Barolo & Monteforte d Alba but withheld locals in the middle of the vineyards where everything is produced this is your spot. The staff is so kind to advice you on every matter 👌

Verified reviewOur terrace of room Barbera was nice and the views were excellent! Breakfast was really good and all staff friendly.
Room itself was quite small, but we only slept there and spent time on the private terrace admiring fabulous views.

Verified reviewGreat outdoor area where we had a good wine tasting and snacks. Wonderful views and the room had a large terrass. Impeccable breakfast - the best we had on our trip. Great wines also. Short drive to the small village of Barolo.
No restaurant and compared to other wine tastings this was a little less engaging and also not so generous. If 4 wines were included, that was it, no extras offered.

Verified reviewEverything. The room, the views, the staff, the lovely brunch, and the wine. And the room terrace. The Nebbiolo room is not large. But, it is adequate and comfy and the terrace. Wow. I had no expectations on the wine. Never heard of them before. They are excellent. The Barolos are very good, and the Barbera d'Alba black label was amazing. Such a nice surprise and a free tasting was offered to guests. Everything else about the place was delightful. The staff were all warm, friendly and very kind. The location is ridiculous. Minutes from most of the wineries we booked. I could not recommend this place more highly. It is a very good value.

Verified reviewThe host Vilma is very easy to communicate with before arrival. The farm house is absolutely beautiful and overlooks the gorgeous vineyards from all directions. The room has a large balcony which overlooks La Morra and Barolo. The bed is comfortable with a cosy bathroom. We even got a complimentary bottle of Barbera wine in the room. Breakfast had a great spread and was delicious. Vilma also threw in a wine tasting for free during our stay. The farm house is very near to Barolo and La Morra and both are worth visiting. If you want to live on a vineyard in the Langhe region, then this is the one for you.

Verified reviewThe staff, Vilma (owner) was like having a built in Nonna the property, she couldn't have been more hospitable if she tried. Sylvia was also so lovely and did the wine tasting with us, super knowledgeable. She also helped us with finding a great cooking class to do together. The welcome we got at the property with wine and snacks was also great and the breakfast each day was super fresh and delicious! Also the wine from the property is amazing and they have an honesty system where you can get a bottle of wine and enjoy on overlooking the vines and you just keep a record of what you've taken.

Super friendly owners and staff. clean room with terrace overlooking the wine estates. wine tasting was a bonus, very educational and personal, really listened to wine preferences to find suitable wines. wine was delicious. we will definitely come back!

Verified reviewThe rooms are modern and well maintained, we like the owners that where friendly, the breakfast was more that satisfy and specialy we liked Sylvia, who helps manage the place, and only for her is it worth traveling to their place. Don't forget to do the wine tasting tour!!

Verified reviewA fantastic location in the hills among vineyards, with great view on adjacent towns. Breakfast was superb and convenient, and staff was warm and welcoming. This is a wine producer, and they were in the midst of finishing up on the harvest. Wine tasting were available, and you could buy their production from past years. Breakfast area was intimate, and all the guest were super friendly..... Got to attend the Annual truffle festival only a few km away and that was an experience. The area has several fantastic restaurants and we got to sample a few of them.
Perhaps only thing was rooms had no TV....but we were not big TV watchers and spent most of our time exploring the adjacent areas of Alba, Barolo, Neive, etc.

Verified reviewThe agritourism is perfectly located for exploring the Barolo area. The wine tasting is excellent (Franco Conterno) and we ended up buying a vertical of their very old wines because they were so wonderful. The staff is friendly, helpful and engaging. Lovely outdoor terrace on our room.
The room is very small, so that one suitcase had to be placed under the table (closet is too small to be of much use). Unfortunately, the air conditioning was not working so it was also very stuffy, despite a screened window (no wind). The wifi was unreliable, sometimes worked, then dropped, then slow. Outside on the nice terrace, there was no internet connection. (There is a lovely outdoor patio area which provided space.) The bathroom is typical small European, but this shower stall was exceptionally small.
