The shower cubical was broken, small, and very old it really could do with being replaced. There was no tray to put anything in the oven to cook but rest of kitchen was ok.

Location was amazing! Tranquility at its best, set in the hills of Pomarance. Swimming pool was clean and perfect to cool down. Restaurant a few meters from the stay was great to have a dinner with local produce. Also, the stay had everything we needed in the kitchen to also prepare our own food. One day we also had a little bbq with the facilities. We highly recommend.

Located at the unique place on the mountain. Stone wall house equipped with nice kitchen. Lot of spaces available for parking and outdoor activities. There is also a swimming pool. Overall, it was relaxed and enjoyable.

Not so good view from our appartment, pool (we stayed in the 2nd house) was on different level then appartment, internet was not so good working.

Breakfast and dinner were amazing, the food very tasty, all staff super kind and helpfull, especially Gabriella, location is fabolous, we liked the rustic vibe of properties, beautiful landscape, peace there, would highly recommend for vacation.

Only 2 of 5 windows had mosquito nets and neither of those worked well. There was no other bug protection provided so we had go and grab some at a supermarket as there were lots of mosquitos, which is normal. The place was a little, I wouldn't say dirty, but dusty, lots of cobwebs and the like. It's a converted farm space, I understand, but I've stayed in several much cleaner agroturismes. There is no air conditioning, which we knew about, but kind of inexcusable when it is 35+ degrees. They provide fans but it's little comfort and we slept poorly each night. The beds are very basic metal frame and thin mattress and not very comfortable. For the price can I grumble? Yes I think so. Some things don't cost much to put right. The meeting to get inside the property was confusing. We had to go to the restaurant they own and just ask a waitress who went to get someone. They just said the key is in the door with your name on a paper. So.we never got showed around at all. So when we encountered things like the hot water boiler being switched off and that, we had to figure it out. It's not asking a lot to meet at the property as we arrived at 8.30pm so not super late.

The location is excellent. Both the general setting near Pomarance and the place itself. Nice gardens, benches, trees and a great pool. The restaurant owned by the same people a short walk down the road is fantastic. We loved the pool as it was super hot during our trip and getting to mingle with other groups was really nice. Similarly the outside spaces with a grill and numerous chairs and tables was a good hang out spot and we ate outside many times during the stay. The kitchen was well equipped and the rooms spacious. Both bathrooms were well supplied too with basics. Price was great for the space we thought.

We are a group of 4 families and stayed at the ‘secondo casale’ - the smaller house - in 3 apartments. The apartments are very spacious and very well equipped also for a big group of people. The place is really beautiful with stunning views of Tuscan countryside.

Amazing location in the Tuscany hills, peacful. The owners are keeping the surroundings clean and tidy, the garden is a great place to sit in the shades of trees and relax, or cool down in the small pool. The nearby restaurant is just beyond amazing. Great food, nice selection of wines and above all really nice people.

The warm water was off in the beginning but the gas boiler was easyly rest and then working again.

The hosts are super nice and check-in was easy even though we arrived late. The appartment was much bigger than expacted and well equipted. The pool is super nice! There is also a extra room with table tennis and other games (shared with the other appartments). 200 meters away is also a tennis court which one can use for free. We enjoyed ourselves a lot. Especially, the restaurant of the owners is highliy recommended. Food was extremly yummy and nice service!

Fantastic apartment in beautiful setting in Tuscany. Ours was around 700 sq-ft, with double bed + 2 singles in the bedroom + sofa-bed in the sitting room. Loads of trees & parasols around the pools for shade, and the tennis court was great fun. Great base for chilling out or visiting Volterra (loved it!), Florence, Siena, and Pisa.

The furniture is a bit worn out, and the beds are comfy but squeaky. If you want to have dinner in their a la carte restaurant, the portions are way too small.

The complete experience is all about outdoor activities. When the weather is nice and warm, you have a nice backyard, swimming pool, tennis court, and everything is beautiful. When the weather is bad, you are condemned to indoor activities, and that is when the things are not so great. There is a table tennis and table football, but it is located in some storage room, and does not feel so nice to spend time there. As for the apartment, it is spacious, beds are comfortable, kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Location is at the top of the hill so it is quiet and peaceful.
