How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified review🏡 La Cresta is more than just a place to stay—it's a unique story, and we feel truly grateful to have been part of it. Nestled near the majestic Cresta mountains, surrounded by pastures and overlooking the blue ocean. This agriturismo is hidden from the world, very peaceful, and right in the nature. The rooms are rustic in style, thoughtfully decorated with a warm and welcoming feel, and spotlessly clean. From the patio, we enjoyed lovely view that added to the tranquil atmosphere. 🐾 One of the nice things was the presence of the extremely friendly dogs and cats, who are kind members of the hosting family. 🍽️ The hospitality of Giulia, Lucilla, and Sergio is exceptional. Their personal approach made us feel like part of the family. Each dinner they prepared was a celebration of local flavors—with love as the main ingredient! Sharing meals with them around the table was a heartwarming experience we’ll never forget. 🙏 Thank you, Giulia, Lucilla, and Sergio, for creating such a magical place!

Verified reviewVery hospitable hosts, Giulia makes every effort to make every guest feel at home and welcome. Very helpful. Spacious room very cleverly furnished with storage areas, clean and cozy. Great location to enjoy the peace. When we arrived by motorbike after a hot day, she immediately brought us cold water. This small gesture is worth a lot. The short gravel road to the farm is not an obstacle.

Verified reviewOur stay at this agriturismo was everything we hoped for and more. It’s perfect for dog lovers like myself, as the five cute and friendly dachshunds on the property added a special touch to our visit. This small, family-run business has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and it’s wonderful that Giulia is helping her parents during the season. Her perfect English was incredibly helpful, especially since we don’t speak Italian. The room we stayed in was cozy and clean, and the new bed and pillow were extremely comfortable—just the right firmness, unlike the overly soft beds we’ve had elsewhere. The dinners were a highlight of our stay, with a great, relaxed atmosphere. They were served outdoors to a small group of guests, making the experience intimate and enjoyable. Each meal was explained to us, giving us a lovely insight into Sardinian culture. Thank you so much once again for everything. We truly wish you all the best. This place is a hidden gem, and we can only highly recommend it!

Verified reviewTo be honest, everything! Location in a beautiful nature, endless hospitality, unforgetable gastronomy with the most lovely service. On the top of it, five amazing dogs to accompany you daily and who are unseparable part of a LaCresta family.
There was really nothing to dislike.

Verified reviewA great place to really slow down. We had so much joy meeting Giulia's family and five absolutely adorable dogs! This place is a real gem, where everything is done with soul and passion. Our room was quite spacious, with air conditioning and everything you need, with access to a small terrace and views of nature. All rooms are very clean! I also recommend attending dinner - it’s not just about delicious, home-cooked food, it’s a whole ceremony in the company of incredible, kind, interesting people. Giulia and her family made our holiday truly unforgettable and very warm.
This is not about improvement, but you need to keep in mind - the place is really far from the whole world, forget about the Internet and just enjoy)

Verified reviewEverything about La Cresta is perfect. The rooms are nice and clean, the views are astonishing and, above all, the family that takes care of it and the guests is over the top. Verified reviewWe stayed at La Cresta for 3 nights, if we knew about this hidden gem before we def. would have booked for many more nights. Giuglia, her parents and their pets are very much entertaining and know their boundaries on a very professional level. As the first night's dinner was so excellent, we extended the dinner for all the nights, we do highly recommend their homemade cuisine ! Without any doubts we are going to advise this place to anyone who shall travel to Sardegna. Note, Giuglia advised us with some places to visit which was very helpful!
We understood that the wifi wasn't working well in the room, which for us wasn't any issue as we came to relax and disconnect.

Verified reviewGenuine "Agriturismo" run by an incredibly welcoming, kind and hardworking family. The room, with independent entrance, was comfortable, super clean (and kept so during the 5 days) and decorated with taste. Food served for breakfast and dinner is outstanding, sourced from the farm (mostly) or nearby and cooked with that kind of honesty and attention that restaurants cannot match. I hope to be back in the area and would certainly try to book the place again.

Verified reviewLa Cresta is like a gem, hidden in the mountainous and remote terrain of westers Sardinia. Surrounded by nature, mountains and surprisingly close to stunning beaches, you will find a family of the nicest people, running a small farmstead in the traditional way, and welcoming visitors in their truly unique little agriturismo. You will have some of the best homemade food on the entire island, a great mix of relaxed privacy and sense of community, and the most beautiful scenery to top it all off.
It's a rather remote location, so make sure to stack up on bottled water, supermarket goods and petrol before going.

Verified reviewWe are three guys travelling with the motorbike. We stayed 3 nights. The complete family made us feeling at home. They took care of us and are very sympathic persons. The rooms are nice and equipped with love to detail. Everything needed was available. Sea view from the terrace included. The nice and friendly Dachshounds accompanied us during our stay. The food was typical high-quality Sardinian cooking with fresh ingredients from the farm or other local producers. The meals were cooked with love. For us it was Agriturismo is it best. Special thanks to Giulia for the support during our stay. We can recommend that place without any exception, and would book again any time.

Verified reviewWe had a wonderful stay at La Cresta. It was our first time in an Agriturismo and we are sure we will never find one better than La Cresta! The owners and their daughter are so friendly and helpful. The dinner was excellent. One of the best we had in Sardegna. The room was beautiful and the view from our terrace was breathtaking. If you ever visit the west coast of the island, go and stay at La Cresta.
Everything was perfect!
