I would of liked a few more utilities in my room like plates and cutting knives.

Friendly welcome in a beautiful spot. Lots of recommendations of the local area when asked, they really did go above and beyond. The food served there was also delicious.

The only thing that would work in plus would be TV set with internet connection. Sometimes when we travel the whole family we like to watch Netflix in the evenings.

We had a really lovely stay there. We stayed in 6-persons appartment and it was really large and well equipped. Host is very nice and helpful. Swimming pool is great and well maintained. Kitchen had everything we needed. Quiet surroundings, nature and short drive to Volterra. Highly recommending trying dinner served by Alex and cooked by his mom! That was exactly what we've been looking for :-)

Couldn’t fault it. Just remember your mosquito spray! If staying in a larger group, more mirrors would be handy but not essential as each room has a small mirror.

The pictures do not do the property justice. It exceeded our expectations. The property is a good size for a group and boasts an onsite authentic Italian restaurant where Alex hosts dinner for guests, cooked by his mother. A lot of care and attention has been put into the restaurant and the food does not disappoint! Alex messaged us before our stay about arranging a dinner for us and we didn’t know what to expect so didn’t book for our first night but we wish we had booked it for more than just one evening. We can’t stress enough that you should definitely book the dinner at least once, if you are staying here! The carefully curated set menu is exquisite and shows off local produce and specialty dishes. The villa is a short drive to the neighbouring towns. Alex is an amazing host.

Missing a few small details (I can only comment for our room): A mirror in the bedroom part. The bathroom needs an extra.floor mat, especially in Spring when the floor is still cold. Hooks to hang coats.

A lovely location to access Volterra, San Gimignano and Colle di Val d'Elsa - giving options for food as there is nothing on the doorstep. The roads, despite windy, are very good condition. A very clean accommodation, in a beautiful, quiet area. Rolling hills as a wake-up view. A big bathroom that has been very nicely refurbished.

Everything was good we liked the whole experience.

Plenty of space, being in the counrtyside was great. Beautiful . Loved our dinner very special, great food. Need a car but easy to explore this area of Tuscany. Alex was a great host.

We really loved the location, just few minutes away from Volterra, but in a very quiet and fascinating area. The room was big and equipped with everything we needed. Didn't have the chance to try the pool, but it looked great. Thanks Alex for the flexibility with our time of arrival.

Stunning location and grounds.It was well situated for visits to Siena,Florence,Cecina(beach) and Pisa .Well equipped swimming pool.Spacious 4 bed house which had a kitchen which was easy to cook in.Alex was very helpful with anything which we needed.Volterra was only 10 minutes away with plenty of restaurants,bars,shops and supermarkets.We hope to visit again.
