We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United KingdomA lot of cake not to my taste for breakfast, but typical Italian fare. The evening meal, however, was outstanding - incredible quality and value and service - there was literally nothing to fault! Bravo Antonio!
The coffee was exceptional. The service was excellent. The soft-boiled eggs were cooked to perfection for dipping. But forget breakfast - the evening meal - WOW!!

United KingdomMattress was like sleeping on a stone was hard and extra firm wasn’t even orthopaedic that’s how firm it was .. Check in was an issue owner doesn’t speak English was having to translate with one of the other hotel staff members and she struggled a bit too .. card reader wasn’t working took 4 attempts and resets of the Wi-Fi before it eventually worked this would of been easier had they allowed us to just pay through booking.com restaurant in the hotel wasn’t open either so every evening had to venture out
Rooms are beautiful and spacious, air conditioning big shower in the bathroom. Lovely and clean and Wi-Fi . Swimming pool the hotel it’s self is beautiful clean and modern surrounded by olive trees and vineyards and tobacco plantation’s as you drive up .. private parking with some shade . Breakfast served in the morning in the hotel’s restaurant was lovely .. fresh coffee and juice continental breakfast some cheese and sliced meat, Italian croissant and jam and yoghurts and the option to make toast

SwitzerlandThe wifi didn’t work and in the bathroom there was not a single shelf or hook to put/hang toiletries and clothes on which made it a bit inconvenient.
We had a totally ok stay, the staff was nice, communications worked well before arrival, breakfast slightly better than expected.
