Everything was amazing.

Marina and Paolo are some of the most welcoming and thoughtful hosts I’ve ever encountered. Their property is beautifully located — close enough to the center to be convenient, yet nestled in the hills with a breathtaking view of the valley. It’s the perfect blend of peace, comfort, and charm. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and filled with light. Every detail shows care and hospitality. What truly made my stay special, though, was the warmth of Marina and Paolo. They went above and beyond to make me feel at home, even offering a lovely aperitivo on their beautiful terrace while I worked — a small gesture that made a big difference. Staying here gave me a real taste of authentic Italian countryside life, all at an incredible value. I truly felt at ease during my time at Ai 4 Gelsi, and I can say without hesitation that I left a piece of my heart there. I’m already looking forward to returning and staying with Marina and Paolo again soon.

It was a little difficult at first to find the exact location

The property is set overlooking a beautiful vista. The couple managing the property are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very fresh, had a good variety and very tasty

Stunning property close to Todi town, amazing views and parking. Bonus seeing the peacocks in the trees early in the mornings. Marina and Paolo were amazing hosts, so welcoming and friendly. They made our birthday stay very special. The breakfast was incredible! Home made cake, biscuits and jam along with fresh fruit, cheese, meat and bread. Also made scrambled eggs and bacon on request. Coffee was amazing too! Would 100% recommend and will definitely return.

I loved my stay here very much - Marina and Paolo are the most wonderful hosts you could ever ask for. I asked for dinner and it was outstanding, as as the breakfast. I definitely recommend it to everyone!

The whole experience was wonderful! Marina and Paolo were exquisite hosts, they made us feel very welcome. The location of their BnB is in a captivating position with a fantastic view over the hills of Umbria. The breakfast served was comprised of gorgeous fresh breads, with several home made jams, eggs, fresh fruit, yogurt, sliced cured meats from the region and an absolutely delicious breakfast tart of fresh apricots. The bed is ultra comfy, and the bathroom is brand new with a strong shower and also a beautiful window overlooking the valley.

Nothing at all. everything was over and above our expectations

The breakfast was exceptional. It was an exceptionally healthy breakfast and we were spoilt of choice. A greater percentage of the ingredients came from the host's garden. The breakfast was filling that we had no need to snack on anything during the day. It was provided well on time and there was lovely, soothing classical music in the background. The hosts were so friendly that we felt so relaxed. There were beautiful views from the accommodation and stunning walkways a stone through away from the accommodation. We had high class, well-furnished and very clean bathroom. The host provided transport to town and other places we needed to go. We were also given information about places to visit in Todi which really helped us. The host also helped us to buy bus tickets. Overall the services we received was beyond our expectations and beyond what we paid for. The peace surrounding the accommodation is brilliant.

So many things about this place to love! Marina and Paolo treated me like family- such warmth and care really goes into their hosting...it is very refreshing. I did not want to leave. Old school B&B where you are hosted by the owners, they prepare a spread of homemade culinary delights. Marina even made me scrambled eggs :) The setting is gorgeous, and just 1km from the city center. The room spacious large bathroom that was spacious. They provided every comfort. I will definitely be back and am so happy to have made lovely new friends!

It was perfect

The owners are exceptionally welcoming and kind… the room was very clean, also air conditioned at a perfect temperature and the mattress and pillows were very comfortable, so we slept perfectly…we woke up to a grand breakfast on a long wooden table under the pergola….with an incredibly healthy assortment of fresh foods , outside on the patio, overlooking the beautiful vast valley. The innkeepers are present and so kind that you feel you have found new friends. This BNB experience is rare these days! Thank you Paolo and Marina ; we adore you!
