Great location, near to bars and restaurants and short walk to ponte vecchio. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and for a small fee, we were able to park behind the hotel. Loved the old world decor and spacious apartment. Super comfy bed in the bedroom. Great breakfast to! 👌🏽🙂

Small room is not small but extra extra tiny. You can touch both walls simultaneously - with motorcycle gear is almost unreal to fit in. The shower+toilet is in the cupboard. The bed had seen a better times.

Super convenient location - just few steps from the main square. Lot of restaurants nearby. Some parking spots just around the corner. Motorcycle parking just near the building. Personnel is heplful.

Was pretty satisfied overall! The only thing that was not ideal was you could not charge your phones/bike computer without having light on in the room.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had a safe space to store our bikes and could keep them there for a few more hours after checking out. The bedroom was on the last floor with very nice views. The location is great.

The walls are paper thin so be ready to be able to hear everything happening around your room, but this is to be expected as it is a charming older building so this comes with the place really.

Really friendly staff and great service, charming location perfect for visiting the town and close by to amenities and shops as well. Would definitely stay again.

It might get a bit loud outside at weekend since there are a lot of bars nearby.

This is a hotel in the center of the old town, close to all the restaurants, bars and cafes as well as to all other attractions of the Bassano. Everything is in the walking distance. The hotel itself is very charming. The staff is friendly and helpful. Also, they provided us with a parking spot in front of the hotel which was very convenient.

We only stayed one night at this property and it was comfortable. Right in the middle of Bassano Del Grappa with a beautiful view of the town from our little balcony. A very period hotel with much charm. Just be warned that you could hear people in the bar faintly underneath from this room, bar closed by 11.00pm , so if light sleepers ask for a back room. Rooms were traditional period furniture set up. Stairs of course to the rooms. Bed comfortable. Showers hot . The staff was friendly and helpful, even with my limited Italian. Breakfast was quite simple, hard boiled eggs, pastries and such, a coffee or tea, although the staff offered cheese and salami. They had a great bar for all day and night services. Able to leave bags after check out for awhile. Very nice stay.

Lugging suitcases up to the 3rd floor was unexpected but we only had to do it once!

We did not get the breakfast, choosing to try different spots. Nice location with easy access to just about everything. Rooms were basic but comfortable and quiet. Staff were cordial.

Discovering the opening switch on the entrance door had failed upon returning from an excellent evening meal at a restaurant nearby. This inconvenience was overcome with the help of fellow guests who assisted us to enter the hotel via a window; accompanied by laughter. The faulty switch was replaced by an electrician early the next morning.

We loved the location, the ease of car parking and the hotel's cafe.

Nice old hotel in the centre of Bassano del Grappa, it is a beautiful old building in a square near the centre. Very close to the famous bridge. Nice staff and about a 15 min walk from the station I will stay there again

Highly recommend Hotel Al Castello to visitors: the location is excelent just few steps to the city center and the red bridge. The room are well equiped and the beds are very comfortable. Bathrooms have been newly renovated since last year and are top. The staff is very helpful and kind. Don´t forget to prebook your parking space with the hotel as it makes live much easier even if there is plenty of free parking available in short walking distance.

For an apartment we would have expected some additional touches. The level of equipment supplied in the kitchen is basic. It would be nice to have tea and coffee facilities with some initial sachets, a couple of wine glasses, replacement pots and pans, and maybe a toaster. Some additional soap and shampoo for the bathroom. In addition, information on the attractions and sites of importance, restaurants, and a map of the location of supermarkets and food shops would be useful. Be aware that there are no supermarkets as such in the old town but there are alimentary shops which provide most requirements. WiFi was noted as being included but is available only in the hotel area itself and not in the apartment.

Apartment is beautifully located at the top of the old town of Bassano del Grappa. The apartment in general is very comfortable and serviced on a daily basis. We had an enjoyable stay for five nights. Bassano is also an excellent location from which to visit the surrounding towns of Marostica, Cittadella and we took the bus to Trento through the Valsugana and return by train for a day trip. A washing machine is included in the apartment. Views to Cima Grappa on a clear day.

Single room quite small,but thats the style of the place,and was ideal for my short visit.
