Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Super brand new room, very clean. You take your breakfast in a "common room", everything you need is available! But the best thing was the host, very accommodating, big smile, running, very great to see Recommended 100%

The description said "soundproof walls". There are walls alright but soundproof they are not.
Located in a beautiful village near an even more beautiful lake. Clear instructions to get in, nice rooms.

I arrived in the evening and it was tricky to find parking. There are some public parkings around, they were just tricky to find in the darkness. I had to call the host 3 times, first to get in, then to find the hairdryer and then to get in a second time, because the door was difficult. My room was a bit cold, but I found an extra cover that solved the issue.
Great location, in the middle of Cles, with several restaurants close by. Breakfast was perfect, I chose cappuccino, one out of three cornettos, bread, jam, yoghurt, müsli and apple (the area is known for apple orchards). Clean and tidy, comfortable bed and with very friendly and helpful staff.

The building is having some renovations done so when you enter it is a bit of a work in progress. Once you get up onto the apartment floors it is all neat and tidy again.
The rooms were clean and modern and the location was excellent, right in the center of town. The breakfast was included and was freshly prepared. Alex was as super friendly host and communication to get into the property was excellent.

Our host was wonderful. He warmly greeted us, made sure we had a good parking spot and completely accommodated our schedule. The room was large and clean. Would definitely stay there again!

The only issue we had was the lack of A/C. I've spent more summers than I care to remember in Val di Non and recall those rare days above 30C. Like once or twice a summer rare with most evenings even in the summer requiring a light jacket or sweater. Unfortunately while we were in Cles it was hot, remaining warm at night and that did make sleeping well difficult.
It's a lovely place, right in the middle of Cles, which is quite a small town so this offers easy access to everything you might want to do in the town itself. Bed was comfortable, wifi was good, breakfast was good, Alex the host was absolutely terrific and obviously was lazar focused on his guests satisfaction.

The pillows were kind of hard. That could be my problem since I am used to very soft ones due to my sleeping position. It would be nice to have maybe one of the pillows softer so the person can choose.
Spacious and clean room, overlooking the towns' central old plaza. There are good restaurants nearby too. The host is also very friendly. I was able to park just at the other side of the plaza, in a public parking. (The public parking space was free at night). The place felt very safe. I would definitely go back. There was no A/C but that was not a problem as we kept the large windows open and the night air freshened the room. Italy was in a heat wave, but this town is nord, among the Alps, so the temperature was lower and acceptable. We had a dog, the place is dog friendly.
