Lovely apartment, ours had separate sitting room, bedroom and kitchen. Great location in historic centre. Our Italian is almost non-existent but the lady who met us was happy to spend time using translator so we had all info needed. Highly recommended.

Amazing experience staying in a real cave! The apartment was finished to a very high standard, with an extremely comfortable bed and excellent value for money. We even received a voucher for a free breakfast in the city center, which was a lovely surprise. The owner was very kind and helpful.

Everything was perfect for our 2 nights accommodation.

Excellent location very close to all the attractions that Matera offers. Our self contained room exceeded our expectations. Even though, there is not a physical reception area, our hosts were excellent in attending to our needs and we never felt left alone. Highly recommended because this place has a magic charm.

We had trouble finding the hotel and it took a few phone calls for the owner to answer. She dies not speak English so we still couldn’t get directions. We finally found someone who knew where it was to help us. I also thought our room was a cave room when I booked, so was very disappointed to discover it wasn’t when we got there. The booking.com room descriptions were not clear to me, I guess.

The location is good - close to the sassi. The owner is very pleasant , and while she doesn’t speak English, when we got there we were able to communicate via google translate voice.

The view of the Sassi from the room's window is amazing. The location is very close to the city center and conveniently near a parking area where you can leave your car. Additionally, Antonella is an outstanding host. She warmly welcomed us, offered helpful tips, and pointed out places to see and things to do on a map. Her kindness made our stay even more enjoyable.
