We had apartment 8 which was immaculate and had the most beautiful view. The staff were extremely friendly, attentive, helped with bags and the room and towels changed daily. We will definitely return.

    Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Position, cleanliness, exposure of the room and its view. Bath very nice.

Interior of the building old, dark, and moisty. The air conditioning unit was barely sufficient, its air filters were not clean. Broken air recirculation in bath (no window, so quite impacting).

The location is excellent and the staff were so friendly and helpful. I wish we knew how good it was and upgraded to a sea view room.

Friendly and accommodating staff, excellent location, clean, and good value

Quite a walk up several flights of stairs to reach the rooms. No coffee/food options.

Staff, location, price, everything super good and friendly!

Sadly, the double bed was just two beds pushed together and they slid apart constantly during the night. The AirCon was loud.

Perfect location, above the main square. Room 2 with partial seaview was nice and cute, with a little window on the harbour. Very helpful contact, they even organised a water kettle for us. Clean and everything as promised.

N/a (all as announced: small room - which fitted for us. Little window. Very centrally located but many stairs and no lift - but they help you with your luggage if needed)

The location and view are incredible, hearing the ocean outside our open window was the best! Room was quite comfortable, you have to navigate the stairs but the staff was happy to help with out bags. Easy to get to the train station and you must check out La Pirata restaurant for breakfast. Wonderful town, wonderful hotel!!

Lots of stairs, it's on the top floor. We overpacked so that was mostly on us. The stairs are more than worth it for the incredible view that awaits outside your window.

Some noise from other guests in the middle of the night but otherwise was a wonderful stay.

Our family rented 4 of the 6 rooms available on the top floor. Two of the rooms had on-suite bathrooms. Two rooms had detached bathrooms, but they were exclusively dedicated to our room and were only accessible with a key provided to the occupant. The air conditioning worked great during our visit in late July. The rooms and bathrooms were incredibly clean, with service completed everyday. The best feature was that it is located in Vernazza, which we feel is the best Village in Cinque Terre.

Yes, there are a large number of stairs culminating in the final flight being a spiral section that can be extra exciting if you’ve been drinking or are carrying luggage. Yes, the bathroom configuration can be awkward for some visitors, especially if you’re from the United States and accustomed to cookie-cutter hotel rooms. Yes, while perfectly comfortable, the rooms are on the smaller side. But if no stairs, giant bathrooms, and huge bedrooms are a requirement; Cinque Terre is probably not for you anyway. The beauty of this place is the quaint seaside villages, cut into the rugged Italian Riviera coastline. If you’re not collapsing into your bed every evening because of the satisfyingly exhausting adventures of the day, you’re doing it wrong.

We loved that this was essentially located hotel in the heart of all the restaurants and the beach.

Hiking up four flights of stairs on a hot day was challenging.

Fantastic location right in the harbor, ideal for exploring Cinque Terre. The room was on the top floor under the roof – quite small, with only a skylight for a view, but view is on the harbor and sea. It got hot during the day, but the air conditioning worked well. Thanks to the shared bathroom and toilet, the price was very good compared to other places in the area. We used this accommodation during a two-day Cinque Terre trek and really appreciated the central location. A good budget option if you don’t mind limited space.

    Limited space.

Well this was delightful. Yes we shared a bathroom but never had to wait or hurry up. Clean room with air conditioning. There is even a spiral staircase I am sure used by fishermen back in the day but this adds to the authentic. Alberto was a gentleman and shared knowledge of the area and his life which we appreciated. And when you open il Portone you are in the piazza overlooking the beach. Just a delight. A real feeling of Vernazza.

Nil. Careful if you can’t climb stairs to get to a third floor with a narrow spiral staircase for the last flight.
