The family room was just what we needed. We loved the old Italian feel and finish. Breakfast was nice although It would have been nice if it was included.

Hotel conveniently located. We able to walk to the center of the city, didn’t have to drive every day. Staff is very friendly, always ready to help. Room is small but clean and comfortable.

The room was a bit small, but the bed was large and comfortable. Otherwise the room met our needs.

We did not have breakfast included during our stay. The location is excellent being across the street from the train station. It is also close to restaurants and shopping.

It is a rail station hotel, nothing to write home about, but cozy and clean. Our room was on ground floor and had a sweet little balcony to enjoy breakfast on. The staff was nice and helpful.

Good location because of its proximity to the train station. Just a few minutes walk to the historical sites of the city. Room cleanliness really excellent. Their breakfast buffet offers a variation of hot/cold food to choose from. Staff very friendly and willing to help to assure our comfortable stay.

Wifi was poor. It was suggested that it might work better downstairs, but I didn't try it, so can't confirm. But I managed, and I'd certainly stay here again.

This is a smart, clean, traditional hotel, much better furnished than some more expensive places. It's right opposite the station, which has stairs down to road level, but also a long slope for step-free access (turn left out of the station entrance). My room had floor-level windows opening on to a long balcony. Other rooms had smaller windows, so couldn't use it, and there was a door at the end, so it was private. The slats on the shutters were fixed - I would like to have been able to adjust them to let in some air without letting in mosquitoes, but they would be hard to adapt. Everything else was fine, although a better shower head might be useful. There was also a little garden with table and chairs below. Staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. There was a key for the safe, and an elevator. Electric sockets were the 3-pin type, but I was able to borrow an adaptor from the hotel. It's not far from the centre of this beautiful city.

Clean, in fact very clean, old fashion style Albergo with everything we needed, run by nice people, quiet well functioning air-con, decent breakfast, just across the street from the railway station, even so our room was well isolated so we did not hear the busy street outside.

Lovely family run hotel, perfect location next to train and bus station. Very close to historic centre and easily walkable. Warm welcome from all the team who were wonderful, nothing too much trouble. Spacious bedroom and ensuite with excellent housekeeping staff, complimentary soap and shampoo with plenty of towels. Excellent WiFi , reception will give you a ticket with password. We required an adapter which they were happy to provide. Large airy breakfast room with a typical Italian selection of food and drinks. Hotel owners overseeing breakfast and a lovely couple. Beautiful staircase to rooms and a lift In reception too. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.

There's nothing I did not like

The staff is really kind and always ready to help. The premises are spacious, with a lovely garden in the middle. Breakfast is very good with sweet and savoury options. The location was perfect for me, just across the street from the train station. Even so, my toom was quiet. Will stay again, if I'm ever back to Mantova

A charming and convenient base for exploring Mantova's old town We recently spent four nights at a truly unique apartment in the heart of Mantova's old town. The location was absolutely ideal, tucked away on a quiet street but just a short walk from , Lago Superiore, Main Train Station, Piazza Sordello and Palazzo Ducale, allowing us to explore all the major sites on foot. The apartment itself was a real find—full of old-world charm and original character. The standout feature was undoubtedly the old wood details, which gave the space a warm and authentic feel. The rich, dark wooden ceiling beams and the beautifully worn hardwood floors in the living area told a story and made for a cozy, inviting atmosphere, also the antique wooden furniture and the rustic timber door frames. While the apartment had a classic feel, it was equipped with all the modern amenities we needed. Our hosts, Signora Carla, Signor Francesco and Mateo, were incredibly helpful and made our stay stress-free. Communication was seamless from the beginning, and they offered excellent recommendations for local restaurants and hidden gems. The best thing is parking in the middle of the hotel. We had a truly wonderful and memorable time in Mantova, and this apartment's unique character was a big part of that experience. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and perfectly situated home base that offers a genuine taste of old-town Italian life. Albergo Bianchi Stazione is an honest, clean and very well located hotel in Mantova. It is a vintage Italian Albergo. It is immaculately clean, functional and the staff is without exception friendly and helpful. This is a real value in an incredible city.

Breakfast was very basic with a lot of packaged cakes. Shower area/bathtub was a joke; the shower head and the water pipe were installed on 2 different walls at a right angle so the shower hose hung 45 degrees across the bathtub. The shower curtain was no more than 400mm in width so it’s hard not to wet the floor when one takes a shower.

Parking was commendable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Directly in front of the railway station.
