Great quiet place in summer period. Nice place to have a stopover or for more days to stay; hiking and enjoy the mountain views. My room had a balcony. Will come back in my next trip.

Everything was good, tasty food at the restaurant. There is no A/C in the rooms to those who are looking for it. Room is nice and comfort.

No soundproof in the rooms, so you can hear all voices outside the room....

What a wonderful find for a summer break!! We will for sure return. We had so much fun with the host, Marco, he has such a great sense of humour! They couldn't have been any more welcoming, and accomodating. We came with our dog, and they had a goodie bag for her, we truly appreciate these little details. They also offered us a big room so we would be more comfortable with the dog. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was super clean. We had apero and dinner at their restaurant, the drinks and food were delicious, and the hosts also help making recommedations. Same with breakfast, it's varied, and if you ask them for scrambled eggs, they will happily prep them for you - delicious! The area is known for skiing, so a winter holiday location, but for summer it's a true gem! There are barely any tourists, the italians come here with their families and dogs, the area is super safe for children, there's barely any traffic which is also great for dogs. All the neigbhours (and even the chef!) have dogs, they all get along, they're very polite and socialised, there are lots of grass fields and little forests to entertain themselves. There are also many amazing summer hikes you can do from here: we hiked from Motta Alta/Lago Azzuro to Rifugio Chiavena, just uau! Great work out and mesmerizing views. We felt at home and welcomed by the whole staff, we wished we would have stayed longer! We also connected with some locals (Frederica and her husband & Kiki were so lovely!!), everyone is so nice and welcoming, they're genuinely happy to have you over. Highly highly recommend it!

    We should have stayed longer!

Many hiking trails around. Plenty of parking space outside the hotel. The establishment is located right under a ski slope and next to a ski lift - as ideal as it gets for skiers. Tasty breakfast with a wide selection of bread. The room had a clean and renovated bathroom.

There's no elevator in the hotel and breakfast could contain some vegetables. There could also be a little fridge in the room.
