On booking.com it is not clear that use of the spa is not included in the room price. It is a private spa that was already fully booked when we arrived. So our evening plans went out the window. We could have done the spa in the morning from 10 till 12 but the price of visiting this private would cost us 45 euro per person for 2 hours. We felt this was a bit pricy; we paid 90 for the room itself. All the information about it being a small private spa for which you have to pay additional fees on your room rate is clear on the website. Not so on booking.com.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is great value for money. The breakfast was very very good with loads.of variety and high quality of ingredients.

Room rather basic but solid. Shower didn't have a curtain or anything similar. It would be better to state clearly in the description that using the spa area amounts to an extra 35€ and has to be reserved before.

the rooms were a bit dated and the hallway lights were off until you walked through which made the place feel a bit dark. Thats the only negatives that the rooms were a bit small and dated and the lights in the hall weren't on

I realise times are hard but there appeared to be a lack of staff and shortcomings on maintenance. The room was very dark with one bedside lamp broken and the wall light only having one lamp working, not two. The hand basin was very slow to drain and only one small light in the bathroom.

Very cozy hotel with extremely helpful staff. We stayed for 4 nights during Engandin Ski Marathon. It was very convinient to get to Swiss by bus (took just 1.5 hour to get to St. Moritz) - the bus stop is just several steps from the hotel door. Madesimo ski resort is just 30 minutes drive by car. Breakfast was good and there was also nice family restaurant nearby. At the day of check out as we were the only guests in the hotel we were served with excelent breakfast for two. The room was nice and clean with comfy beds.

The spa and sauna were not included in the price for the room. On booking, the description is misleading as it does no highlight "additional cost charges" for all spa related items. Without this, the price was way too high.
