Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SlovakiaAll was good, I recommend the owners to take care of the bikes, check them regularly, and buy one more for small kids of 6-7 years of age. For us it was OK.
We stayed 5 nights as a family of five. The place is safe and quiet, with a pool, in the middle of the fields near the salt lake. The access road is not asphalt but gravel, which was not a problem. If you don't have a car, I don't recommend it, unless you rent a bike, which is available for free to residents. The nearest beaches are 5-10 minutes away by bike. Nevertheless, the personnel were kind and helpful, and the breakfast was rich and diverse. The dinners are pricy, but you can cook for yourself or buy a pizza in Putzu Idu or Scoada Arena. Washing machine was for 5 EUR per use including washing soap. Generally, the place feels relaxed and in good mood.

Czech RepublicI did not like how small the room was, the employees at the breakfast were too slow and their english was not very good, the value for money was not very good in this accomodation
I liked mainly lush greenery around, good mood of employees and large terrace

SloveniaNot their fault, but it is a bit secluded, about 5-10 mins driving to closest beaches (which are not the best) and about 20 to the amazing ones. Come also prepared as there are no convenient markets nearby. But in any case, well worth staying there, just have this in mind. Like I said, we'll come back!
Everything was amazing! The pool area excellent for our kids. Lots of shade, even quite some toys for our girls to play with. We felt so relaxed there. Wonderful staff. Great cooking as well, go to some dinners there. The whole place very well kept. We'll try to come back next year!

BelgiumOne attention point maybe is the hardness of the mattress. When you have lower back pain, the mattress is too hard.

NetherlandsRoom had a specific, somewhat weird odour. Smell never really left, but you get used to it
Smooth check in, room was convenient, well equipped and clean. Breakfast is excellent and there is a possibility to have dinner as well. The rental possibility of bikes is a big pre!

Sweden- Hard to find where to eat lunch in rural Sardinia. There are some very basic food sheds at the beach. But the villa had a well equipped kitchen, and there is a large Crai supermarket just 10-15 minutes drive from the property, so we pretty much made our own lunch and ate it outside in the tree shade. Brings back the childhood memories. - There was a bee invasion at the pool on one sunny day, but it is hardly something that has to do with the property.
+ Gated property, very spacious and green, especially for rural Sardinia in the summer. + We had a villa, it was large for the five of us (3 adults, 2 kids 11 and 8 y o). + Nice pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Lots of shade if you need to hide yourself from the sun. + Amazing beaches, everything from calm and tidy Spiaggia di s'Arena Scoada to lovely Is Arutas with quartz sand (a must see). + Very friendly and customer oriented staff. + Food! Amazing! Could possibly be more basic options for kids, but I understand why Luca wants to keep a traditional touch. + Kids loved everything about the place.

Switzerlandthere is nothing we didn't like and it was a perfect stay for 1 night. the room we stayed in and the area around could be improved with some up-dates - but sure this is already planned. it is remote, therefore you do need to take the car to go to the beach, another restaurant etc. but as the restaurant on site offers such great food, the bar area is lovely - there is no need to go anywhere else during a short stay. we probably would not chose to stay for a week or more.
it is obvious that they are on a big renovation project - some areas still need some up-dates but in general it is a lovely place to stay. what really made the difference for us; very friendly staff and a fantastique dinner followed by the best breakfast we had during our 10 day stay in Sardinia! the omlette was sooo nice! I would definitely recommend it for a short stay.

United KingdomToo much crammed into small space - for family of 3 (incl 2yo) our room had beds for 3 in the bedroom plus bunk beds in the kitchen which took up space and made it very cramped. Soundproofing was terrible - could hear normal level conversation through the wall as clear as if we were in the same room
All the basics you need for self-catering stay. Toddler loves toy box by pool and playground

ItalyThe most genuine and fantastic staff, honestly some of the best food in Sardegna, and literally the most child friendly but not in a disturbing obnoxious way. The rooms are great with kitchens and cleaning service every day, you don't need to bring anything! They even have umbrellas for the beach! And the staff is amazing I can't say enough about them. From watching your baby while you eat dinner to letting you sample homemade delicacies...the service is impeccable and the people genuinely wonderful.
