The room refrigerator was not cold and wasn't fixed which was annoying.

The window was very dirty, and the balcony didn’t seem to have been cleaned for a long time, at least it looked that way.

Nice staff, the breakfast was excellent, the building looks very nice from the outside, and there is plenty of parking space.

We didn’t have swimming hats as we didn’t realise we would need them. The photo on Booking.com shows a lady with long hair enjoying the pool without a hat. We didn’t want to buy hats from reception so ended up not using the pool. Felt the photo was misleading and needs to be updated to show someone wearing a hat.

Big room, quiet, lots of tables and chairs around to sit and have a drink / play cards. Lots of extra pillows. Lots of parking.

They have spa facilities, but what we did not know before getting there is that you would need to reserve the spa facilities for 2 hours and that you had to pay quite a bit per person for this. When on a roadtrip with only one night at the hotel, this is something you like to know beforehand when you are choosing the hotel. Also we thought we would have a room with a view on the town or the countryside, but we looked out on a parking and some houses on the other side of the hill. That said, we did not bring it up with the staff, as it was only for 1 night.

Number one is the really firm beds. A common thing in Italy, but these were the firmest we come across to the point we would get numbness. The air conditioning couldn't keep up with the heat of daily sub to mid 30s, even when it ran all day and night with the curtains drawn. There was a miscommunication with the restaurant dinner special from Booking dot com being €3 pp more than quoted. Not a big deal, but this needs to be fixed for future guests. They did comp us two coffees in the end though to cover it which was welcome.

The best part of our stay was the interactions with Shaheen. Everytime he passed there was always a smile, a cheerful quick conversation and always checking to see if we needed anything. I enjoyed having a coffee bar right in the reception, and a restaurant onsite which was very nice. It had great ambience and food way better than you would expect. A comfy lounge downstairs and the fact it was pet friendly (we didn't travel with pets, but enjoyed having them around). The house cat Bishoo was awesome to say hello to around the property.

The hotel was quite simply furnished but was super clean and had everything you needed. The bed was really comfortable and there was a wonderful view from the little balcony. The staff were really helpful and efficient.

The hotel is old style and could do with some renovation. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was bordering on decent but could be improved by adding more choices. The hotel is conveniently located though and not far from Montepulciano historic center. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Is not in downtown so if you don’t rent a car is difficult to reach there and you have to walk around 1 km to downtown inside the walls. There is only one taxi in the village and is very expensive.

The view of the Tuscany is absolutely beautiful, a very quiet place.

Everything! The great location (25 min by foot from historic centre of Montepulciano), the big parking, the infos over whatsapp before arrival, the fantastic view from the balcony, the big clean comfortable room. Didn't have time to use the pool and Spa, but it looked very appealing 👍

Very nice good-sized room in hotel on the W edge of Montepulciano (not too far to walk, but it's uphill). Very clean and comfortable, with good wifi. A bath, which I like. I had a room at the side, which was very quiet (though no view).
