Very central & decent sized rooms

Lots of stairs to reach our room

Location was amazing, and staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Standard of the room was a bit disappointing, but was clean. Accessibility to rooms is difficult for anyone with hip, knee or back issues as you will need to climb a very long, steep set of stairs upon entry and then another easier set of stairs to the room

The staff - every one of them! - was so friendly and helpful. They helped me avoid a major mistake (going to the wrong bus station) and made sure my trip ran smoothly.

The water temperature in the shower was tepid at most, but that was actually fine with me since I worked up a sweat every day. Another issue that wasn’t a problem for me, but might be for someone with mobility issues, is that the elevator only worked sporadically. They were getting it fixed so may not be an issue going forward, but a good question to ask before booking if you can’t climb stairs.

Dragging luggage up flights of stairs to lobby. Room was noisy.

The team at the hotel were very welcoming and looked after us nicely. The room was great for our purposes and the location was ideal. They kindly stored our luggage for a few hours too.

There are many stairs to the reception. This was fine but could be an issue for some. There was a lift after the first flight of stairs.

Location is amazing, walkable to Duomo, the Accademia and other landmarks, Florence is really beautiful and the hotel allowed us to explore it very easily

The reception desk is at the second floor which requires hauling your luggage to the first where there is a small elevator which can fit only 2 people, they should have some bellhops for tired travelers to help with the luggage movement

Everything was perfect! This was such a wonderful stay in the heart of Florence, I was given a free upgrade to a spacious room with a view of the river, and the owner and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. There was plenty of variety for breakfast too. I would definitely come back!

The staff makes you feel right at home the second you arrive. The rooms are gorgeous and super clean. If you need a place to stay in Florence, please stay here, you won’t regret it!!

Nothing, there are some stairs to climb but the building is not modern so it was to be expected.

Beautiful old Italian theme and feel! Loved it and the old fashion elevator.

The stairs, there are a few steps you must take to get to the office.

Really friendly and helpful staff, giving plenty of recommendations. The location is also ideal, as close to the historic centre as it's possible to be.
