Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsClimbing 3 flights of stairs with all our luggage was not fun, and the parking on the street is limited…the main doors did not open both sides so we had to squeeze through one side!
Yes great location for our stay in Milan with the metro station, pizzeria and bakery in walking distance!

United KingdomEverything was manageable.
Although the flat in not in the centre of the city, the transport is nice, easy, available, no problem whatsoever. 25min walk from the flat, you have multiple bike stations (use Bike Me) which I highly recommend (I always cycle in Milan). There is a supermarket 5 min away, the surrounding is lovely, neighbours are great. The flat was super clean and the cleaning lady was extraordinarily nice. Our apartment was warm, beds, incl. sofa super comfortable. The clear instructions received from the management. The flat has basic dishes available, the kettle could be provided, we used a pot. Other than that all was great. I'm coming back to Milan in January and I will be searching for accommodation with Alessia's again.

United KingdomThe only minor gripes we have about the flat are: - there weren't any tea towels so we had to borrow one from my mum's place. - we didn't find any instructions on how to use the central heating so the radiators would come on before we got back to the flat. No big deal as we used the AC/warm air heater instead. - the moka pot was aluminium which doesn't work with induction hobs as it's not magnetic. We didn't find an adapter so we had to place the moka inside a pot of boiling water to make coffee. Our suggestion is to either provide a Moka pot that's compatible with an induction hob or provide an adapter. - when I messaged the hosts via WhatsApp I didn't get a reply. We were too busy dealing with ill parents in hospitals and navigating town during a public transport strike to follow up with a call, but still... it would be useful to have a way of communicating that ensures at least an acknowledgment, even if the answer to my questions was "no". - this is no fault of the host, but the sugar pot was full of salt. We should have checked before adding some to our first morning coffee that took 1hr to make due to the issues with the induction hob. 😂 Please, don't be like us and do check in case some joker who stayed before you decided to switch salt with sugar. This is a suggestion and by no means something we weren't happy with: if possible (I realise it may not be), could we have the option of an add-on for basic supplies like oil, vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar and a laundry tablet or two. We spent a small fortune purchasing these in quantities much greater than needed for 4/5 days. Thankfully, we found a spot on the top shelf in my mum's kitchen (carers aren't very tall, so they can't reach it) but had we not had this option we would have had to bin the lot which cost a considerable sum. Overall, still a fabulous stay.
The flat was super clean and well organised, with a small selection of pots and pans as well as crockery. They even had a traditional Italian coffee machine so we didn't have to take one with us. I suffer from food intolerances so when I travel it's usually a case of either starving or eating foods that cause issues. By being able to cook my own food from scratch I was able to fully enjoy my stay here. There are plenty of grocery shops nearby so we were able to stock up easily and save £££s in restaurant bills. The bathroom is small but it has everything one needs: loo, shower, basin and a bidet. Oh and there's also a washing machine which meant we didn't need to take as much stuff with us. The property provides towels so you don't need to take your own. The building itself was an old "casa di ringhiera" with massively tall ceilings with exposed beams and a HUGE yard. These are rare finds these days as a lot of these buildings have been knocked down to make space for intensive housing where people live on top of each other. I grew up on the other side of the canal, a couple of Km down the road but I had never really visited Buccinasco 🙈 so I was unsure of how easy it would be to move around town. If you're wondering too, fear not: public transport is ace and you can reach Milan's town centre and the underground quickly using bus 325 which stops right in front of the gate. It takes only a few minutes. Traffic alongside the canal can be brutal with emergency services traveling fast with sirens blaring. Although you can't fully escape the latter, once you shut the windows it becomes peaceful again. Last thing(s): if you love running, the other side of the canal seems to be a popular spot for runners and cyclists as there's hardly any traffic ever. And... if you feel adventurous, you can have brunch or dinner at the Argentinian shackle on the edge of what looks like a caravan graveyard. 😉 We'll be back for sure!

ItalyThere is no elevator so with a baby it was tiring going up and down three flights of stairs but doable. I would recommend putting paper towels or dish towels in the apartment for cleaning up.
The apartment was extremely clean. It had everything that we needed and the bus stop was directly in front of the apartment. There was a supermarket right behind the apartment with a 5 min walk

IsraelThe apartment is in the third floor without an elevator, and the stairs are not comfortable. The area unpleasant , the railing is too low, feels unsafe and due to small space between the railing and the building, also the air condition worked bad
The inner house looked good, beds were comfortable

TaiwanThe hotel is terrible. 1. I booked a queen bed, but the room actually had two single beds pushed together. 2. The front gate on the first floor was broken, and the key they gave me didn’t work. As a result, I was locked outside for an hour. On the second night, the man put the key in the key box but didn’t inform me. I had to call him multiple times to find out where it was. 3. Bad attitude – when I checked in, there was only one roll of toilet paper in the room. I ran out on the fourth night (I stayed for five nights). When I asked the man in charge for more, he said, “We’re not a hotel.” That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever heard. 4. The location is also very far from the city center.

United KingdomThe shower door needs to be fixed as it's impossible to close the door fully, while you are taking a shower. It's very inconvenient and causes water to get out of the shower. Also, when we arrived, a few things were missing like washing liquid for dishes and sponges, it was very disappointing as we arrived, went to a supermarket, cooked and couldn't clean the dishes after... so the next day we needed to go to the supermarket again just to buy washing liquid and sponges. A coffee maker was provided but it didn't work with the induction cooker, it's also not so important but kills the morning vibe when you expect to make a coffee but instead have to go out to find it outside. Honestly, nothing critical, just small things to improve. Ah, and front door, please make sure two parts of the door can be opened, otherwise, the person with big luggage simply won't fit inside.
The property was new, clean, spacious, and very comfortable, making it ideal for our three-night stay. We were pleased to discover a supermarket nearby, as well as a delightful coffee shop, which added to the convenience and enjoyment of our visit. The host was friendly, and the instructions for accessing the apartment were clear and easy to follow. We will definitely stay here the next time we decide to come to Milan. Also, it was quite easy to get to the city center using a public bus.
