Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandUnfortunately the garden was not as good as I expected - near the house entrance there is a quite worn garden swing, a table with 3 chairs and a barbecue. I hoped for some kind of nice seating area, preferably with an umbrella, on the lawn. We couldn't really enjoy it - it is also a resident area, so we didn't feel comfortable staying out late, as we didn't want to disturb the neighbours. Second of all, the house is getting very hot during summer and there is no A/C - we knew about that, so I'm not taking it against the owners, but it is worth mentioning for anyone who could be more susceptible to high temperatures. Even with the external shutters closed during the day to protect the inside of the house from a direct sunlight and all the fans on (there was a fan in each bedroom and we got an extra one during our stay), it was very very hot inside. We had to keep the windows open during the night, however it didn't help that much and later obviously caused a neverending battle with mosquitos.
The house is spacious (6 ppl can fit there easily), clean and well-equipped. There is a king size bed in one bedroom and twin beds, that can be easily pushed together, in the other one + 2 beds in the living room. In the kitchen we found everything we needed. The bathroom is quite big, it looked as it was undergoing some kind of renovation, but it was fully functional. The owner's family lives just next door, so in case of any problem, we could get help immediately. The house is located not far from Parma and it's a good spot for road trips in the area (we visited Cinque Terre, Lake Garda, Parma, Modena and Bologna). The neighbourhood itself is very pretty as well.

PolandReally hard to point out anything :)
Vincenzo is a very nice person, very open. Although he doesn't speak English he takes effort to translate Italian to your local language. He's very helpful. The place gives a lot of freedom and is very spacious. Easily 6 people can sleep comfortably here. It is in the calm area. The interior is not new and is kept in the "old times" style but it was clean.

FinlandWhat a wonderfull place to stay with our family on our way through Italy! We needed a place to rest and relax from our long drive and Vicenzo's Apartment was perfect! Spacious, cool, lovely, safe garden for our kids. A leafy residential street with shady parking, at the end you can walk directlty into the fields. Vicenzo was a charming and very accommodating host. We left with a large chunk of parmesan from Alessandro(just down the street) as a memory!

GermanyIn general, bottom floor of the house where we stayed was clearly neglected, not taken good care of. We couldn't use the kitchen equipment, they were full of stain. Similarly the sheets and pillowcases had stains, we had to put additional case on. Garbage bags were half full of garbage from previous visitors. Spider webs behind couches. Sorry Vincenzo, but you better keep the place cleaner.
The only thing we liked was the smiling face of Vincenzo. There are few supermarkets and pizza shops within 3-5 minutes driving distance.

CanadaThe location was great for us - We had booked a tour of a local parmesan cheese facility and Vincenzo's place was only a 15 minute drive away (important since the tour started at 8:45am). Vincenzo was a great host and very friendly. He spent some time describing things we could do locally. It turns out he has a friend at another nearby parmesan facility only 2 minutes drive from his house. So, he took us on an informal tour of that facility after we got back from our first tour (and the cheese was even cheaper there). Above and beyond for a host.

HungaryWe spent a few days in the apartment of Vincenzo. It was a lovely and relaxing stay during our trip to Italy. The house is spaceous, clean and well equiped. It has a beutifull garden as well, thus we find refresment at the end of the day. It is not far from Parma app. 20 minutes, the city Felino is full of prosecuto factory. The Castle of Torrechiara is also worth visiting nearby(5 mins). Vincenzo and his family were very charming and helpful.
