The 3rd bed was a bit too narrow. There were 2 chairs on the balcony although the room is for 3. I disliked the banket sandwich: bedsheet under a nasty blanket and bed cover on the top. These kept separating during sleep and woke up several times tangled in one of these 3.

Great breakfast with a wide range of options. The room was clean, the balcony had a nice view. Car park on site. Nice personnel. The hotel is at walking distance to town center.

The hotel is situated close to the local beach, supermarket, train station, ferry terminal and bus stop for the airport shuttle and local buses. What really stood out about this hotel was the first class customer service. On our last day when we had checked out but weren’t leaving for the airport until the evening, they stored our luggage, let us use a spare room to shower and even left us plastic bags to put out wet swimwear in and sachets of shower gel to use. I thought this was such a thoughtful gesture and was indicative of our stay there. The continental breakfast was excellent and the housekeeping was of a high standard. I really can’t fault this place.

The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and clean with a good sized balcony with fantastic views over the lake. Buffet breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. There was a pleasant terrace for drinks in the evening. We were sorry to leave and would definitely recommend the hotel to future guests. We were given a gift as we left which was a lovely gesture. Thank you Hôtel Alpi.

I liked everything about the hotel but didn't love the town of Baveno.

Breakfast was fabulous. Lots of variety, including homemade jams and baked goods as well as many fresh options. Wonderful coffees and lovely service. The hotel is well placed in Baveno. Easy to walk anywhere in town and to access the ferries to Borromeo Islands. Great views of the lake. Clean and comfortable. Helpful staff. I would have maybe preferred to stay in a different town on Lago Maggiore, however, as there is not much going on in Baveno. The restaurants in town all seemed very touristy and hard to get a table at. The hotel Alpi is a wonderful choice though and I had a great stay there.

It was a pity that the bedroom window and balcony doors had fixed nets totally obscuring the wonderful views of the lake and the hills which we were there to enjoy.

Superbly run hotel. Very welcoming with local information Exceptionally clean. Very good towels and bathroom facilities. Hot water and heating when required. Good breakfast. Good balcony. . Location was just right, easy walk to lake and restaurants.

The hotel was very well placed and had parking. The rooms had everything you could want plus a balcony and it was spotless! The food was very tasty and plentiful!

The staff were all very friendly and went out of their way to help you. Hotel was immaculate and cleaned daily with new towels/bedding. Beach towels provided daily which was welcomed as well as a large bottle of water. Lovely view of the lake with good size balcony equipped with a table and chairs. Only a short walk (across the road and through the park) to the lake. A beach bar serving food and drinks at reasonable prices. Expect a 10-15 minute casual stroll to where the ferry terminal is. A great stay..would definitely highly recommend.

The only (minor) downside could be the proximity to the main road, which can be a little noisy daytime, when relaxing on the balcony. The windows, however, are soundproof, so no unwanted noise at night. The bathroom could have done with an extra shelf, to have more room for things.

Lovely hotel room, with a nice balcony and very good service. Excellent breakfast with many local good quality products. The lovely beach is accessible with a short walk across the nice public park in front of the hotel and clean beach towels are handed out to you.

The location is amazing. It is easy to reach the lake by passing through the park, it takes only 5 minutes. Hotel provides towel which can bring to the lake and it is super practical. I was travelling along and the people in the hotel gave me good advice, and they were always very friendly. I am very satisfied about my room. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. I would love to come back.

The breakfast was ok but there were not a lot of options so our one year old baby didn't really have something for her to eat other than cookies and yogurt.

The location was really good, we had an amazing view of the lake from the balcony and the staff was really nice. The rooms were clean and we had enough space even with the baby cot.

The hotel owners and all the staff members are so hospitable and kind. The hotel is very clean and near to the central part of Baveno, where you can walk along the lake, have a drink or take a boat to the islands.

The weather could have been better.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Alpi - the staff were friendly and helpful and could not have done enough for you. Our room with an en-suite was spacious and comfortable with a lovely view from our balcony of lake Maggiore. The food was good, we chose to eat in the hotel as the menu changed daily with a good selection of local dishes. The waitresses were superb and catered for your every need. Breakfasts were continental in style and sustaining. parking at the hotel was extremely convenient.

The AC was turned off in the middle of the night and we woke up to demand it be turned back on at 2AM. Unacceptable.

Bit of road noise but inevitable being so close to Lake and town centre.

Friendly and very helpful staff in family run hotel. They went above and beyond to assist me as a solo traveller. Excellent dinner. Large and clean room with balcony views of lake Maggiore..Good air conditioning. Room cleaned and toiletries renewed daily. Nice terrace to savour a glass of wine.
