Very helpful and kind staff... good breakfast... However, my room was very small for three people (father and two sons). Bathroom was clean but small as well.

We were put in a room that was in the attic. No window, beams to hit your head on, crowded space with furniture, bathroom door in way of accessing toilet as it would only open enough to squeeze through and yiu had to close door to use bathroom, no shower, only a tub with hand held sprayer, slippery tub, I fell in it, no AC, but they did provide a fan and bath mat when requested. The breakfast was only basic continental, it seemed planned so you would buy an expensive lunch and dinner. We ate there for dinner once. Owner had to get help to share the menu which was only accessed in English by the phone and then after we chose the dinner with him, he served us an entirely different meal. It wasn't worth reordering. It was okay, but not okay. Loud music, very, very loud music Saturday night until 3 AM. No sleeping, not even with ear plugs. It was that loud. I felt like we were the chicken come for plucking the way the meals were served and the cost. 50 euros for basic noodles and water. Only did that once. The area is pretty. Full of motorcycles and bicycles, driving too fast for common sense and dangerous, cars that are 3 feet off your bumper even when I felt I was driving fast. But, that is Italy, even worse in the mountains. Overpriced, under quality stay.

    Nice little town.

Ancient hotel in a mountain town. All furniture fittings are at least 50 years old, but very high quality. It feels like traveling in a time machine. But that's not bad!

Glum. Best bit after the hairpin drive up was the drive down.

Poor room for quite a lot. Hotel pushed an upgrade for more (declined). Breakfast good and varied.

The hotel has an absolutely superb staff. The owner showed me where to part my car for the arrival of Giro d'Italia and allowed me to store my bike in the basement. The entire staff is tip-top and the half-board option is a great deal. The restaurant has a very professional wait staff and the food is terrific. It's a great deal if you're cycling or hiking.
