Apartment doesn’t have parking, which was the most important for us. Also we had problem with the electric, three times we were out of electricity for few minutes. We never met the host, however noone answered on our email or waited for us. Luckily we found cleaning lady who barely speeks English. She was very nice and polite but didnt have any information regarding our stay

There were dirty dishes in the room, and the shelves inside the closet were dusty. It was cold in the room, there was no heating. There is mold in the bathroom, the drains are all dirty and covered with plaque. It's not neat to take a shower. There was also no duvet cover, there was only a sheet, it was very uncomfortable.

The lobby of the apartment seemed to be undergoing some upgrades. So tiles and bricks and a little dusty. The apartment does not have lifts so arriving with a luggage was a little struggle but fortunately the apartment was only on the 1st floor. The room and bathroom is clean. The floors are wood laminated and tend to creak when you walk about. There are some areas close to the bathroom have water damaged/warped. The TV for fine but only in Italian. Did you know how to set to original language as all the programs have been dubbed. Just FYI.

Location is excellent. A 5 minute walk to the train and bus station. Very convenient. Walking to a good restaurant was about 10 minutes away. To the centre of town a good 20 minutes walk. I like that everything is within walkable distance. Even to a florist to het flowers for my son’s graduation.

Sheets for duvet, please use classic duvet sheets/flat sheets. I was thinking during the night not to touch uncover duvet with my skin, so many people before was there I am sure you are not changing every time.

The room was big, had everything what we needed. The glass was bit broken while cleaning accidentally I broke the glass.

The wooden floor, although it gives an old-fashioned touch, really makes noise with every step. The same floor is in the bathroom. The apartment is in building, in an apartment with two other rooms/apartments. The walls are thin, so you can hear a lot of noise from neighboring apartments. The bed and pillows were not comfortable, and it was also cold considering that the heating is only on the air conditioner. There were no blankets in the wardrobe to thicken the thin bed covers in January. There is a warning on the bathroom door that if you don't wash the dishes, you will be fined 50e. We always try to leave behind a clean slate, but we've never seen threats like this before haha. The same as the host's instructions to take the trash 100m away. For such requirements in terms of cleaning, you expect that there will be no fungus in the shower cabin, but... :/

The apartment is located near the center. Parking is free in front of the building if you catch it. If not, there is a parking lot nearby that you can pay for

The price and the location was great, we also got really lucky and got a free parking spot right infront of the entrance.

As soon as we arrived, we had no place to park, but we looked for a parking lot that is 500 meters from the accommodation and getting in is the same challenge, when we arrived at the apartment, the air conditioner did not work and the owner stated that it was due to Italian law, but in the end it turned out to be a lie. Creaky floor, toilet full of fungi, the whole apartment was dusty and smelled of cigars even though it says that smoking is prohibited. The insulation is very bad and you can hear everything. The internet didn't work, there was even a blackout. We were given a very thin blanket so that you could look through it, without a cover. Additional payment: €2 per day per person. The staff was not the most approachable. The price does not match the quality. This is all except AMAZING

No parking as advertised. Had to look for street parking a number of blocks away. TV and WiFi didn't work. Very thin walls. Small single beds joined together.

Disaster! Never again. Imagine driving for 7 hours and then experiencing this: We arrived in Trieste at 11 pm. The ad says that the parking is nearby - no parking, not even a garage. We drove for 1 hour and a half around Trieste to find a parking. We were looking for a non-smoking room. When we arrived everything smelled abnormally after cigarettes. They didn't even ventilate and we had to ventilate for 2 hours because we couldn't sleep. They have signs in the room saying that smoking is prohibited and threatening with punishment. You're breaking your own rules! We want a refund!
