Breakfast could be better with more variety.

Great location, it was just a few steps from the sea. Friendly hotel staff, especially Filippo. He worked above and beyond to help us with restaurant reservations, boat tickets, etc.

Staff were very helpful, we had to leave early for a family emergency, a member of staff drove us to the port as there were no taxis available. Above and beyond normal levels of service!!!

The hotel had a lovely bar area. However, it was not staffed during our 5 day stay. We asked about this and we were directed to the pool bar. This was disappointing as the bar area furnished with indoor and outdoor areas with views across the beach and ocean. It is underutilised and would be the perfect location for a late afternoon aperitif . A jug, cups and glasses in the rooms along with tea and coffee making facilities would be useful, as well as an iron.

Filippo in reception was friendly and helpful . He gave us advice on where to eat, what buses to catch to see the rest of island and assisted us with other matters during our stay. Thank you Filippo! The location on the beach is good with close proximity to shops, restaurants etc. However, the beach in front of the hotel is private and you have to pay a beach director if you want a sun lounge and you need to find somewhere (out of the private areas) to leave your towel and belongings. The pool is nice with some shade and a bar. There are lots of sun beds but these fill up quickly. The beds were comfortable and the rooms air conditioned with tile floors to keep them cool. We had a beach view room which had beautiful views across the ocean. The cleaning staff were friendly and did an excellent job of keeping the rooms and facilities clean.

We had a wonderful family time at Hotel Ambasciatori. Right on a great beach with a lovely pool and pool bar area. Rooms were large and we had two Seaview rooms overlooking the pool and beach. Ischia Porto was a short walk away with many shops and excellent restaurants. It couldn’t have got much better!

I stayed at Hotel Ambasciatori in Ischia for one week and had a truly wonderful experience. My room had a balcony with a beautiful beach view, and the entire property was clean, peaceful, and well-maintained. Daily housekeeping ensured everything remained spotless throughout my stay. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making me feel genuinely welcome. I would especially like to highlight Filippo at the front desk, who went above and beyond to assist with directions, recommend excellent local restaurants, and explain how to navigate the island by bus. He took time to walk me through a map and made sure I felt confident getting around. His warm smile, professionalism, and local knowledge made a huge difference—he is truly an asset to the hotel. I highly recommend Hotel Ambasciatori to anyone visiting Ischia and would gladly return.

Breakfast needed improvement with the addition of fresh fruit. It was adequate but could easily be improved. If you ask, they will make eggs to order.

It is right on the beach with great restaurants for lunch. It is dated but very clean. You could walk easily to so many restaurants and shopping. It felt very authentic Italian with few foreigners. The pool was nice and heated. There were lots of sitting areas inside and out with beautiful flowers.

Wonderful quiet location water front. Easy walk to all the shops. Beautiful views. Delicious food breakfast and dinner. Philippe and Mario could not do enough to make our stay an amazing experience. I highly recommend a visit to the beautiful Island of Ischia and that you stay at Hotel Ambasciatori.

The showers were ridiculously small even for me. I am 160 cm and 51 kg. The breakfast was ok . I was hoping for more fresh produce instead of cakes.

The view and proximity to the beach was wonderful. Francisco at the front desk was the ultimate gentleman, organized and helpful hotel staff we have ever encountered in Italy. He is a great asset to the Hotel.

We went here as part of our honeymoon. We stayed in room 214 with a lovely view of the sea and a big balcony. When we checked in they surprised us with a glass of prosecco and snacks. The staff was very friendly and Filippo was very helpful to us, gave us great recommendations and went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The breakfast was good with plenty of options even for us who do not enjoy the sweet pastries that most Italian places serve. Location was great for exploring Ischia Porto! We loved our stay here and will be returning!
