How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

Verified reviewIncredible spot in the Dolomites. We drove from Lake Garda and stayed here for the first half of our Dolomites trip. We visited Lago Di Carezza on the way and did a lively walk at Santa Magdalena that afternoon. We then hiked Seceda the next day, the hotel was a great location and the staff are superb. The food is brilliant, highly recommend.

Verified review10/10 experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Room, facilities and food were lovely. Natural swimming pool was unique and refreshing after a day of hiking the mountain. Location was breathtaking and peaceful! Tons of trails in the “backyard”.

Verified reviewIt's the best 3 star hotel we've been to. Clean and comfortable. Great staff, pleasant and welcoming. The summer pool is a treat in mid July.
Dinner somehow took two hours. During breakfast one of us didn't get their eggs dish until everyone else were already done eating. When ordering the eggs it wasn't communicated that you can get multiple fried eggs and we got just one per person (a weird default, should be 2) while the people next to us got 2, 3 fried eggs each. Breakfast is missing vegetables, there were only tomatoes.

Verified reviewThe location is beautiful, quiet and secluded. The road to the hotel is an adventure on its own! The service is super and the staff is friendly and accommodating. For example: When we arrived on the destination at 14:30 we didn’t have any lunch yet and although the kitchen was closed they provided us with a cheese & meat platter, bread and dips. With breakfast they prepare fresh eggs any way you’d like (scrambled, sunny side up, cooked). We were looking forward to some peace and quiet and we found that here. The room was also very clean.

Verified reviewStaying at this agriturismo was a wonderful experience. We were warmly welcomed by amazing people who greeted us with a smile every time and were always ready to help. Due to changes in our schedule, we had to cancel one night. The owner was very understanding, and after speaking with Booking, we received a refund for the night we couldn't stay. The location is set in breathtaking, peaceful countryside. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was excellent. In the evening, we dined at the on-site restaurant and enjoyed delicious local food. We had a great time and highly recommend this place!

Verified reviewThe hotel sits at the top of a hill overlooking the town and valley with truly beautiful views, and plenty of outdoor terraces and sitting areas to enjoy the views. Our room was on the smaller side, but very comfortable and with a beautiful bath and large shower. The staff are welcoming, friendly and very attentive. Our dinner and breakfast were both very good. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but the views are worth it!

Verified reviewVery warming family run this hotel, the view is amazing both inside the room and outside the hotel. The breakfast is also great, make you have a wonderful beginning the whole day. Even if you left things there, they will help you to pack and wait for you to return.
There is a little challenge to drive on the narrow road through mountain.

Verified reviewOur stay here was an absolute delight from start to finish! Nestled in idyllic surroundings, the property masterfully blends historic charm with modern comforts - think exposed wooden beams meets plush bedding. The warm and attentive staff truly elevated our experience, always ready with local recommendations or to arrange transportation with genuine smiles. Culinary highlights included breakfasts featuring and farm-fresh fruits and eggs, while dinners surprised us with expertly crafted regional dishes using seasonal ingredients. Despite offering such quality, the rates felt remarkably reasonable - this hidden gem delivers exceptional value. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our return!
Part of the road to the hotel is a bit challenging, avoiding driving at night is recommended.

Verified reviewSecluded location, intriguing design and quiet surroundings with a beautiful view. Great breakfast on a green terrace.
There was no a/c (mid July) and the fan provided was too noisy, also despite being far from everything there was a techno party somewhere near so it was a night of trash sleep. Pool was not working.

Verified reviewThis is one of most beautiful properties we ever visited. Beautifully set on a dominant mountain spot, this famIly run hotel offers spectacular view to Eisacktal and surrounding mountains from almost every corner, out of almost every window. We had one night stay, enjoyed our afternoon at poolside and then had perfect tasty dinner and bottle of gorgeus south tyrolean red wine on outer terrace with a million dollar sunset setting. Everything about this place is just perfect: Charming historic manor with comfortable contemporary furnished rooms, unconventional swimming pool, detailed garden and terraces, but most of all beautiful people who meticoulously run this faciility. We felt most welcome from first contact to farewell, were beatufully taken care of and will for sure come again. As owners themselves put it, this place is hard to find and hard to forget.
We loved everything

While not an issue, it is a windy road up but that is to be expected for such a great view.
