Beautiful location, with the most stunning views. It really wowed us when we arrived. There are a number of old buildings all converted into a unique room, and all with it's own private terrace area to relax where you can have dinner. Every Mon, Wed, Fri they put on a 5 course banquet and we were lucky to hit upon one of these days - it was fantastic all round - the service, food and setting. The staff went above and beyond, we truly loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat

Our stay at Borgo Lu Puleu was absolutely magnificent – truly a 10/10 experience! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed like family. The hotel itself is stunning, full of charm and Sardinian character, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful landscapes. The service was beyond excellent – attentive, warm, and always with a smile. A very special thanks to the owners, who put so much heart and passion into every detail, and to Giovanni, who made our stay unforgettable with his kindness and professionalism. Every moment here was filled with comfort, relaxation, and authentic hospitality. We left with wonderful memories and are already looking forward to returning. If you want a place where you feel truly cared for, this is it. Highly recommended!

This fabulous gem of a property is surrounded by stunningly beautiful mountain views and provides guests with authentic and genuine Sardinian hospitality in a family owned converted stone Borgo. If you’re looking for somewhere to relax, refresh and recharge your soul, this is the place! Giovanni (manager) was amazing and nothing was too much trouble for him. The food was delicious and showcased the talents of an exceptional chef. The Cossu family are just the nicest, kindest, friendliest people you could wish to meet. Can’t wait to return!

We liked everything about the property. Just back from an amazing couple of days in Borgo lu Puleu. The food was some of the best we’d ever had. The service was attentive and unobtrusive and everything was done with flair and style. They took huge pride in offering great service. Would whole-heartedly recommend. Today they gave us a super late check out to facilitate a late flight. Was greatly appreciated.

The WiFi in the room was not working.

It is hard to describe Borgo Lu Puleu because it is so special and incomparable. The location up the hills is unique. The “resort” consists of several ancient historic buildings and now each of them is housing hotel rooms each one with its own characteristic country style. In the past all those historic buildings formed together a big farm. That’s why is now called Borgo. The owners Silvia and Alessandro are very nice people. There are there to ensure that you will fully enjoy your stay. We have to mention Katerina, Anna and Giovanni who were there at breakfast and dinner time to serve out the delicious food prepared by the chef and his staff. The premisses are beautiful with everywhere “hidden” corners well furnished where you can relax, drink your wine or read your book while enjoying the views, nature and quietness. The swimming pool is great and completed with comfortable sun beds. Also to mention grand father Andrea who invited us twice after dinner to enjoy his home made grappa, mirto and sausages. To resume: we had a fantastic and unforgettable stay in BorgoLu Puleu.

The A/C was a bit difficult to figure out but it wasn’t too hot when we were there.

The way this property has the old buildings preserved and made into the most beautiful calm retreat is incredible. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless clean. The food is delicious and fresh and the service is friendly and professional at the same time.

Such a fantastic and authentic stay! Very friendly staff, relaxing and calm atmosphere, exceptionally clean, great food (especially the breakfast). We had a wonderful stay, our expectations were far exceeded. We want to highlight the great hospitality of the family, they were so helpful. The stuff, in particular Giovanni, made our trip so special and unforgettable. The breakfast/dinner room comes with a beautiful view. It was intriguing. The food, especially the dinner, was incredibly tasty and unique. The well-kept pool area was perfect to unwind and chill.

You have to have a car to get there/ explore. We did and it meant we could go out but you would maybe feel quite isolated if you stayed in house the whole time. The dinner option in the evening is expensive, so do budget for that. It’s worth every penny as it is stunning, but as the only dinner option you do need to be prepared for the expenditure.

Breakfast was fantastic, really high quality food, great menu and wonderful service. Coffee was exceptional. Pool and pool bar were brilliant, very clean, helpful staff and very happy to serve. Beautiful view over the countryside and farmland out to the lake. The room was stunning, with a Turkish bath (steam room feature) in our shower was a great treat and the soap products were very high quality and smelt divine. It’s very calm and peaceful with a very authentic feel.

What a great place this is. You feel immedeately at home because of the welcoming owners and the friendliy staff. Every room has a different character, the place is spatious and a bit remote, which enhances the holiday feeling. Wonderful breakfast. So only superlatives for us.
