    The natural environment and authenticity

I would have liked more storage drawers for clothing and some towels rails by the sink area to make it more practical

What a beautiful place to stay in such a beautiful city. Everything was perfect in our accommodation- loved the touch of slippers! Our room was spacious, exceptionally comfortable and beautiful! We were even able to check in early. We enjoyed a spa visit too which was definitely worth it!

We loved our cave lounge with its bean bag seats and private projection area where we could relax with a film and a glass of wine! Staff were very helpful and friendly. Bed was large and comfy, breakfast was varied, shower was very good.

Location was a bit challenging for us oldies to be honest, at the bottom of lots of steps so not easily accessible with luggage, but the staff/taxi driver kindly arranged a porter for us, who made light work of it!

Traditional feel but modern approach, cool and stylish in the heart of the old city.

Unique! Very comfortable. The Spa was enjoyable, the days were very hot and we appreciated a relaxing hour in the Spa. The Cave room was great and the breakfast was good also.

    Nothing.

Very spacious and comfortable, was amazing waking up in a cave every morning with all the little luxuries….outstanding

Slight smell of damp in the lounge but expected…you are in a cave!

Our room was enormous - No. 24, one of the "cave" suites - and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful, always ready to help with advice on where to go, restaurant recommendations etc.

The one thing we didn't like - and not the hotel's fault - is that the Google Maps app on our phones tends to direct you, even when walking, down the road that leads to the lower part of the Sasso Caveoso (more or less opposite the big rock church) and then direct you up the pedestrian paths to where the hotel is. There is a much shorter direct route down from the upper part of town, which would have been nice to know when we were lugging suitcases!
