Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

PortugalBecause it is located in the main street with lots of bars and restaurants, it can be very noisy during the night (we stayed during the weekend)
Very central, the balcony is very scenic, the bedroom is well decorated and welcoming. The breakfast is ok (some packaged products, fruit and yogurts)

Excellent location in a pedestrianised street walking distance to the sea front, shops, cafes and restaurants. The room was clean with a modern bathroom and had a lovely small balcony looking on to the street.

United KingdomJust a couple of croissants, and a few biscuits for breakfast, no signage, for a fire escape, and could not locate how to leave the building, if we had to in an emergency.
Great location, many restaurants within walking distance, great atmosphere and very vibrant outside the building, nice small balcony, but you could sit out and enjoy the surroundings,if you wanted.

Czech RepublicThe street outside can be noisy due to the nearby restaurants, but this added to the vibrant atmosphere. Light sleepers should keep this in mind. The only downside was the basic breakfast prepared in the fridge, which could use more variety.
Stylish and spacious apartment, ideal for 2 people. The modern design is both comfortable and cozy. We particularly enjoyed the little balcony, perfect for watching the bustling activities below. The apartment's central location made exploring the town incredibly convenient. However, parking was a bit challenging to find, but with some patience, we managed to secure a spot within 200-400 meters. Overall, this apartment is an excellent choice for anyone looking to stay in the heart of the city.

AustraliaNothing it was excellent , just one very minor suggestion if the air con unit was located central to the bed this would have made the room cooler. We experienced extremely hot weather having the unit closer to the bed for sleeping would have made it even more comfortable.
Great location, rooms spacious with comfortable bedding. Cleaned daily with continental breakfast provided topped up. Well furnished with everything you need. Despite being in the pedestrian area with so many restaurants nearby there was no noise. Street parking was easy to find and using the parking app made it even easier to control from wherever you were. Totally recommended.

United StatesIf you are a light sleeper, the downside of being centrally located is the late-night noise. The walls were thick, but again, if you sleep light, bring earplugs. Also, not a traditional B&B -- the "inn" is on the third floor of a townhouse.
Centrally located, with a little balcony to look out over the pedestrian square. Some noise at night, but surprisingly quiet. Comfortable bed, good wifi, snacks and coffee. Staff were just a quick phone call or text away, and responded quickly. Elevator to access the apartment. High ceilings and balcony felt very "cosmopolitan."

Facilities and cleanness were 1st class. Shower was wonderful and beds were very comfortable. Beautiful building in the centre of the city overlooking a pedestrian area full of bars and restaurants. Close the windows and it was very quiet completely shutting out any noise. Breakfast is brought to your bedroom each morning with a variety of food and drink very nice indeed. Taxis , buses and the train station only a short walk away.

United StatesThis B&B was in a great location! The room was very comfortable. A lovely, ample breakfast was provided in the room from a cart laden with goodies. The woman who brought breakfast was delightful - so cheery she brightened the whole experience! There was no person available to answer questions about logistics or restaurants.

United Kingdom-
We had a fantastic 4-night stay at Antico Corse Charme! The owners were friendly and accomodating, the room was spotless and the breakfast was fantastic. We had a feast every morning! Fantastic location for pretty much everything you'd want to see in Cagliari, near the train and bus station and walking distance to most sites. The street has loads of restaurants (with lots of locals also) and has a fantastic bustle. We slept soundly every night and weren't really bothered by noise despite being on busy street (other reviews mention noise but it's more background chatting from street and we really didn't find it too loud). All in all an excellent place to stay- would highly recommend and would stay again. Restaurants- go and try to Courgette Flowers (Fior di zucca) at La Staffa down the street. We also had a fantastic Vongole (although on the pricey side) at Simbua on nearby side street.

AustraliaThe room was perfectly located right in the middle of town. If arriving by car be aware that the room is located in the pedestrian area and no cars are allowed in. There is ample parking in surrounding areas. It was no problem for us. The room was nicely decorated with everything you needed for a comfortable stay, The bathroom was lovely, modern and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the view on the main street was lovely. You're right in the middle of town with restaurants all around you, and grocery stores very close by.

United StatesSometimes a little noisy at night.
The location is perfect - only a few blocks from the train station. We were happy to have chosen this location rather than a place in the Castello area as it’s all uphill from the train station and it wouldn’t be an easy walk with luggage. The staff members that we met were friendly and the room cleaned every day. We did not opt for breakfast. The WiFi signal was strong and it was a plus to have a kettle in the room for tea (we brought our own packaged coffee.) There are many restaurant options nearby.
