The hotel is very authentic, you can feel the attention to detail, the old interior has been preserved. The location is great, and the city of Ragusa left perhaps the biggest impression on the entire trip around Sicily. The host Giuseppe was extremely helpful and attentive. Actually, we have never experienced such hospitality in any other hotel, we were honestly impressed. We wish Giuseppe and his family the best of luck in their business and hope to come here again in the future!

This is the dream of European lodging. A unique place to stay full of history and charm, a wonderful host named Giuseppe, the most spotless and clean room I have stayed in for years, a delicious breakfast. What more can you ask for? Our favorite place to stay in Sicily.

Nothing. This didn’t affect us at all since we don’t have mobility issues, but the balcony/deluxe room bathroom has a narrow entry with several steps. This means elderly guests or those with mobility issues may want a more level bathroom.

Nothing was too much trouble for our host Giuseppe. Met us at the door and carried our luggage up to our room, drove us to find parking (not easy). Gave us info about the town, with a map and info on buses. Lovely big room with a terrace and access to the garden. Mini bar, kettle and tea. Lots of choice for breakfast including home made cake, yogurt, marmalade. Ate outside in the garden.

    Nothing apart from parking.

Very clean and spacious room, classy interior with stone floors and vintage furniture (all working and clean). Location was fantastic, you walk out straight into the heart of Ibla. Breakfast was delicious, great choice, a lot of homemade goodies. The host Giuseppe was wonderful, very helpful, nice and friendly. Gave us great advice about parking and what to see. Very good WiFi. I highly recommend this B&B if you want to visit one of the most incredible and beautiful places in Sicily.

I honestly can’t think of anything

This B&B was exceptional- we felt like we were staying in an old palace nestled in the beautiful old town of Ragusa. The room was spacious and at night it was very quiet. The breakfast was absolutely outstanding, having many sweet and savoury options, much of it homemade. Giuseppe was very helpful and attentive and spoke english very well. I would not hesitate to come back here and stay longer next time!

Great location, helpful owner, nice rooms in a former (not very grand) palazzo, decent breakfast. A very good option for a night or two and a valid alternative to Noto.

Beautiful accomodation; high domed ceiling in bedrooms, wonderful interior stonework (stairs, ceilings). The hosts were gracious, helpful, generous, the breakfasts were varied and plentiful. There were several small restaurants close by with delicious food, and the beautiful Giardino Ibleo was just a couple of minutes walk away. Handy bus into Ragusa Superiore was at the front of the gardens

We liked everything about it. Grazie Giuseppe and Vanessa

The B&B is just fantastic, in an old historical building super well located, meters away from the duomo. The breakfast was served in a bar nearby (really close) due to personal circumstances, which was a good way to live the Italian way.

Unfortunately there was no staff at all in the premises, probably due to low season. No one to welcome us or inform us about things to do. We had a WhatsApp number but it is definitely not the same feeling.

Located just in the right place.Convenient for everything. The owner found me a parking space, thankfully as I would not like to have to search myself. Many places have no parking pay meter and impossible to find a Tabac to get a permit. So a free slot important ( white lines.only)

Breakfast not provided in the property but I was given a ticket to get free breakfast at a nearby bar. Bar was late opening so no use. When I eventually found it open there was no choice, only coffee and a pancake. It was also a seedy looking bar.

A truly stunning b&b set in a historical building that wonderfully combines, design and the original architectural features of the building. Vanessa was so helpful! I loved it so much I stayed an extra night!

A glorious old palazzo in the best location in Ibla. Enormous rooms which were very clean and filled with thoughtful touches. Excellent communication with the staff throughout. We enjoyed coffees on the terrace watching the sunrise, listening to the church bells.

The air conditioning was poor but the owners kindly provided additional fans for us. Breakfast was cancelled during our stay, but again we were given options of a full refund or discount and we chose to stay. The bathroom for some reason was very hot all day and all night. You had to be quick ! Terraces needed a quick sweep to remove the bird waste.
