How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

Perfect location could walk to most places Train close . Rooms were perfect exceptionally clean. Fridge with drinks supplied every day and snacks complimentary. Rooms were cleaned and tidied to perfection every day. Will stay here in Rome again as perfect.

No elevator. Not for too many luggage.
Very convenient location in the heart of Rome, right behind Colosseum. Nice beds, clean facilities and easy to come in and out. Definitely recommend.

Only a slight thought was it lacked drawers in the room . But it was not a big issues .
The staff were very helpful and kept me updated and in contact. With clear information . It was central to everywhere of interest . It was maintained well it was peaceful and bathroom beautiful it also had air con A extra was a free fridge replenished everyday as was the tea and coffee Also had a safe .

A minor minus is that the bathroom doesn’t have a ventilation and sometimes it smells because of the canalization.
It was a lovely place, very good isolated from the noisy streets and very clean (they clean your room everyday). Very close to the colosseum and forum and walkable to the main attractions. The metro is right next to you. Also there are a lot of restaurants around you. I definitely recommend it.

Elevator only went part of the way. Poor directions by staff. We needed a code to get into the building but wasn’t told that ahead of time. However, staff was quick to respond when we texted that we couldn’t find it so only 15 minutes of confusion for us before we were redirected by them.
Great location, right next to colosseum and some nice restaurants. Very pleasant and responsive staff. Free waters, sodas and snacks daily.

- The check in times are a bit limited, but the staff had a good work around for our late check in
- The location was excellent, close to the train station (about 15 minute walk), close to the main attractions and to the subway line (2 minute walk) - Staff did a daily clean up, always had fresh towels and the room was always left organized - Had a selection of snacks and drinks that were free of charge and restocked everyday (the cold water was fantastic) - Very spacious and private - Staff was accommodating to our late check in time and the communication was easy with whatsapp

Difficult to find front door on arrival. No Colosseo sign at entrance. After a long journey and very hot caused anxiety. However, messaged Luca, who sent video directions immediately. Code worked and key for room in place, just finding entrance was the hitch.
Clean, comfortable. Very good bathroom, clean fluffy towels and bedding. Great location for Colosseum and station and sightseeing. Host responded to minor questions promptly. Reception staffed every morning.

Would like a filtered water station. Was super hot the entire time. Had two bottles of water in the room but went through them quickly.

Very close to many of the major attractions with colosseum literally less the 10 min walk away. Property was very clean, and easy to access in a nice area
