1) shower: you have to sit in tub and hold the shower head in your hand. Nowhere to hook the shower and no tub curtains. 2) no two wine glasses the same, pans very small. 3) there is a tiny moka machine but no coffee machine for breakfast coffee

The location was absolutely fantastic. You are in the heart of Bellagio, but just a few steps off the beaten path where the crowds are. The apartment was very basic by American standards (no frills), but very clean and comfortable. Gaia, the hostess, was wonderful and so helpful.

It was an apartment so we had to go out for breakfast. The place was very central.

- Could be updated a bit. - The host seemed very upset that we had a child with us, which didn’t make the best first impression. I get the impressions that Americans value children/families a lot more than Europeans do. We typically don’t list our son on our bookings because the search algorithms often assume that he needs a separate room/bed, which results in fewer possible search results, especially in popular destinations. He’s 4 and on trips shares a bed with us because of the novelty of the location etc. We didn’t think this would be a big ordeal, but apparently this is not tolerated in Italy. We had no issues with this in the UK, France or Switzerland, however. - Bellagio itself has been completely destroyed by Instagram. You can barely move between all the tourists and get ready to stand in line for hours to get on a ferry. Was probably our least favorite destination on our trip through Europe.

The apartment is in the center of Bellagio, offering convenient access to the charming shops, restaurants and very close to Lake Como. The apartment is well maintained with clean white towels, living area and kitchen are spacious and the terrace is small and cozy. The host is very hospitable and responsive and she provided clear indications to arrive.

WiFi wasn’t very fast, but that seemed to be the case everywhere around the area. There is also no holder for the showerhead - not a problem for us but could be difficult for some unless you prefer a bath!

Amazing location and beautiful lake view from the upper level. Instructions were clear to arrive without needing to go up a lot of steps (though the apartment is on the third level). Fairly quiet in the evenings, and was nice to be able to easily head back to the room during the days.

The hosts were amazing. They have a shoe shop just on the corner where the apt is. We met them there to get the keys. They are just a few steps away if you need them. They went over & beyond during our stay. Always happy to chat & point out great places to eats or where you can get the best views. We felt very safe there & knowing the family were just in the shoe shop meant we had peace of mind.

The property is fabulous. Well-appointed with all the amenities you need and then some. The communication with Gaia was very simple and she was very responsive to any questions of requests. The property is easy to access from the ferry port and in a perfect location, close to shops, bars and restaurants but still very quiet and relaxing. The 3 flights of stairs might be an issue for some people with large luggage. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and clean. I can't recommend this property and the host more highly. We hope to return in the future.

It’s on the 4th floor a historic building. If someone has mobility issues, they may want to think twice. Otherwise, doable.

It was conveniently situated right in the heart of Bellagio. We had lunch at home most days. There’s a grocery store a few steps away.

Steep circular stairs to attic beyond our age. Only went up once to take picture of the lake. Maybe would have appreciated a small television down stairs. On the other hand too busy waking around. La Punta worth a look and different view. Side trips Varenna and Tremezzo good fun. Garden at Villa Carlotta well worth the trip
