Terrible value for a run down property

Super basic but lovely for a couple night stay. Perfect location. Gaia is wonderful host!

Great location, quiet, very friendly and helpful owners. Nice loft and cute balcony.

1) shower: you have to sit in tub and hold the shower head in your hand. Nowhere to hook the shower and no tub curtains. 2) no two wine glasses the same, pans very small. 3) there is a tiny moka machine but no coffee machine for breakfast coffee

The location was absolutely fantastic. You are in the heart of Bellagio, but just a few steps off the beaten path where the crowds are. The apartment was very basic by American standards (no frills), but very clean and comfortable. Gaia, the hostess, was wonderful and so helpful.

It was an apartment so we had to go out for breakfast. The place was very central.

There was everything we needed for our stay.

Location is incredible, right in the heart of Bellagio.

- Could be updated a bit. - The host seemed very upset that we had a child with us, which didn’t make the best first impression. I get the impressions that Americans value children/families a lot more than Europeans do. We typically don’t list our son on our bookings because the search algorithms often assume that he needs a separate room/bed, which results in fewer possible search results, especially in popular destinations. He’s 4 and on trips shares a bed with us because of the novelty of the location etc. We didn’t think this would be a big ordeal, but apparently this is not tolerated in Italy. We had no issues with this in the UK, France or Switzerland, however. - Bellagio itself has been completely destroyed by Instagram. You can barely move between all the tourists and get ready to stand in line for hours to get on a ferry. Was probably our least favorite destination on our trip through Europe.

We had a hard time getting the keys to unlock both doors in a timely manner.

The property is in a great location, right in the heart of Bellagio. Lots of great restaurants nearby.

Unwelcoming, uncomfortable, old, in poor condition, bad smell, camping mattresses or thin foam mattresses as a bed, dirty dishes/cutlery, very dirty sponge left for guests to use, tiny shower, tiny hot water system, rules regarding the use of the air-conditioning and a host who monitors your movements and sending you messages when you leave asking you to turn off the air-conditioning.

The apartment is in the center of Bellagio, offering convenient access to the charming shops, restaurants and very close to Lake Como. The apartment is well maintained with clean white towels, living area and kitchen are spacious and the terrace is small and cozy. The host is very hospitable and responsive and she provided clear indications to arrive.

Amazing location and beautiful lake view from the upper level. Instructions were clear to arrive without needing to go up a lot of steps (though the apartment is on the third level). Fairly quiet in the evenings, and was nice to be able to easily head back to the room during the days.

WiFi wasn’t very fast, but that seemed to be the case everywhere around the area. There is also no holder for the showerhead - not a problem for us but could be difficult for some unless you prefer a bath!
