A beautiful place to have our cave experience. It was lovely to be able to make a cup of tea and sit on the terrace and watch the ongoings in the Sassi valley.

Wow !!! This accomodation is amazing!! We booked both bedrooms here as our adult daughter was travelling with us. This would be one of our very favourite accommodations we have ever stayed in. The views from the terraces here have to be seen to be believed! Absolutely stunning. We wished we had been able to stay longer. Super clean and with a great kitchen. Bed linen is very high quality and mattresses extremely comfortable. We were going to eat out in a restaurant but the views from this accommodation are much better than any restaurant in Matera. So we enjoyed a lovely home cooked meal with stunning views. Photos don’t do it justice. Indeed very memorable accommodation.

The location is the best of the best as well as apartments itself ! In the middle of the old Matera- with amazing terrace overlooking the ancient city . Very warm , cosy and spacious Sassi apartments. There is a small kitchen where you can make tea/coffee. Great experience- our stay was fantastic ! Thanks a lot to Patrizia ( the host) for everything !

We decided to cook dinner and breakfast and found out that there were no plates and barely any paper towels. Most of people who stay probably dine out but if you are making plans on cooking to save some bucks, there are plenty of little supermarkets that sell whatever you need.

The property was exceptional. The property was clean, comfortable, and it had everything you need.

It was perfect.

Perfectly located, easy to find and very close to where a taxi could drop us off. The views were outstanding and the hosts very accommodating. The property felt historic yet with modern luxury, and fit our family of five beautifully.

We had a fantastic stay here - the location was fantastic (make sure you follow the directions to find it!). It was finished to a really high spec, the photos don’t do it justice. The terraces are huge and wonderful with fantastic views. I hadn’t appreciated that there are only 2 rooms so if you book both- as we did - you have the whole place to yourself! It’s like an apartment but you can book the bedrooms individually. We spent a whole day sitting on the terrace soaking up the sunshine even at the end of October.

Wifi was very slow at times, but nothing major. Communal balcony has a nicer view than the private one - felt a bit expensive

This place is stunning! Located right in the Sassi you have your own view of the town without elbowing the other tourists for a picture. Room has character and is huge! Loved the shower as well. I highly recommend this place for your stay in Matera.

Our room didn't have a full length mirror and also bedside cabinets. My sister slept on the double bed and I slept on the sofa bed which was very comfortable but had not bedside table or bedside light so I had to put a chair next to it to use for my phone, etc. I think adding these two things would improve the apartment enormously.

The accommodation was a house with several rooms, some with private terrace and others with shared terrace. The property was well situated in that we got a taxi from the bus stattion to the small square just above and then walked down a few steps to the building. Easy to find and easy to reach. The room we booked with private terrace was amazing. We loved the view looking over the sassi of Matera and it was so quiet and peaceful. The beds were super comfy (even the sofa bed) and the shared kitchen was great with communal area to sit and eat if you wanted. The owners were very responsive to our messages and allowed us to leave our luggage on the premises for several hours after checking out.
