Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe place is a family-owned bed and breakfast. The location is amazing, we got the room with a sea-view and every morning we could just go on the balcony and see the sea. The breakfast was very good too; everything was freshly made.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this stay. Isabella and her husband are the kindest and loving people I’ve met. They are so attentive and have curated such an amazing space. This Bed in Breakfast in Sorrento is absolutely stunning. The views are the best views from any bedroom that you can possibly have. I love love this Bed and Breakfast. When I go back to Sorrento I will only stay here. I loved this place so much.

FinlandIsabelle and her husband are wonderful hosts! Place is on side to get away from all Amalfi crowdness and rush. Taste of more local way to spend holiday. Accomodation is cozy and unique. We fell in love with everything. Especially to Isabelle and especially our daughter loved her. She even started to cry when we left.

Hosts are super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great overlooking the sea! Would definitely come back and stay longer next time.

United StatesNothing but we had to leave!
We fell in love with this place as soon as we arrived! The views from our room are amazing, and the sunset over the Gulf of Naples is absolutely breathtaking. We stayed in the King Rose room, which has two bedrooms—each with large glass doors that open to a spacious balcony. We loved spending our mornings and evenings on the balcony. It was so peaceful, with a stunning ocean view and the refreshing mix of lemon scents from the surrounding trees and the ocean breeze. What more could we ask for? Breakfast was lovely—fresh and delicious every day! Isabel, the villa owner, is incredibly friendly and thoughtful. Our kids loved the donuts, and she made sure they were available every morning. We’re so happy we found this place. Although it’s a 20-minute bus ride to Sorrento, it was perfect for us to escape the crowds at the end of a busy day. We also enjoyed walking to the town for some gelato—it felt very safe, even around midnight. We highly recommend this place!

AustraliaWe couldn't fault Villa Mundis Relais. There was even parking, which was unexpected and very rare for Massa Lubrense.
The room, view, and location exceeded expectations. The hosts Isabel and her partner are fantastic down to earth people who warmly invite you into their home and extend a slice of life in Massa Lubrense. The breakfast is wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. We feel like we have made life-long friends and will absolutely be back.

United StatesNothing, I wish I would have stayed longer!
My stay at this property was incredible. Rooms had an amazing view and were spotless and comfortable. Just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento in a quiet less touristy neighborhood, and a very close drive to some of the smaller port/beach towns near Sorrento or hiking along the peninsula. Host family was kind and warm and made you feel like one of their own - breakfast was the best I had in my entire time in Italy, and the massage offered by the host in their private spa (one of the rooms in the home) by the host for a reasonable price was one of the best massages I've ever had.

United StatesWalk from the bus stop in Massalubrense up the hill to the lodging was a bit confusing. However, once the host pointed out the best walkway it was easy to walk into town.
Amazing sea view from the room's terrace, great hosts, and delicious breakfast. Out host even offered to let us ride into Sorrento with them when our departure time coincided with their trip out.

United StatesThe home is up the hill from Massa Lubrense. The room was huge with our own section of a wrap around balcony with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea. The breakfasts were an artform in the variety (yogurt, fruit, breads, meats and cheeses, egg dish which was different each day), taste, and the presentation. Everything was so clean with eclectic artwork everywhere. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our stay in Italy. Isabelle is a wonderful hostess! She ensures that everything is above and beyond any possible expectations, and also offers healing, therapeutic massages.

RomaniaI want to start by saying that Isa is absolutely amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. Even though they don’t offer laundry services, she kindly washed our clothes for us. Both she and her partner are incredibly warm and know how to make you feel at home. Every morning was a dream with a varied breakfast and delicious omelets, all accompanied by a view that was impossible to tear your eyes away from. My phone is full of pictures because of it. Both our room and the entire villa were spotless. Since we came by car, we had convenient parking available. We enjoyed peaceful surroundings and beautiful weather, even though it rained for two nights. It was still very pleasant, especially in the mornings when we saw the sea after the rain. I highly recommend Villa Mundis. We were extremely satisfied with our stay and would be thrilled to visit again.

United StatesI wanted to take a moment to share my incredible experience at Villa Mundis, which truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in the warmth of genuine Italian hospitality. The connection we formed with our host was remarkable - it felt less like a vacation rental and more like being welcomed into the home of a cherished family member. This unique atmosphere allowed us to immerse ourselves in authentic Italian family culture while still enjoying the traditional accommodation. What truly set this experience apart was the exceptional level of care and assistance we received. When we encountered an unexpected issue with our rental car's flat tire, our host went above and beyond, promptly connecting us with a local mechanic. This kind of personalized attention truly made us feel looked after and valued. Villa Mundis isn't just a place to stay; it's a gateway to experiencing the heart and soul of Italy. The blend of comfort, culture, and genuine care created memories that will last a lifetime. I wholeheartedly recommend Villa Mundis to anyone seeking an authentic, unforgettable Italian getaway.

United StatesOur stay at Villa Mundis was our favorite the entire trip. We had a car so it gave us a lot more freedom to visit other towns near by. (Positano and Sorrento) the breakfast every morning was delicious, they gave plenty of options between an omelette, fresh veggies from her garden and the perfect pastries and cafe. The only downside was parking was tight our last stay there and we were not aware you had to reserve a spot prior to the stay. Other than that it was a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back.
