How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews

The smell and wear of the room
I liked that it was close to the airport. The room had air conditioning. But in the room you can't open the window, only the door to the terrace. I didn't really like the smell as if someone had smoked there before. The room is old, not super clean.

Cheap and standard needs a bit of a refurb.
If you're thinking of booking accommodation close to the airport so you can walk there, I have bad news — you’ll need to walk about 10 km 😃 If you are reaching hotel by bus V170, don’t get off at the stop that Google Maps suggests (Cardano via Papa Giovanni), because you'll end up walking for around 30 minutes. Instead, ask the driver to drop you off at the Cardano Cemetery ("Cimitero di Cardano") — from there, it’s only a 10-minute walk. Achtung, the bus from Malpensa Airport, Terminal 1, only runs until 7 PM. The taxi from the airport to our host's place costs €35, but I managed to negotiate it down to €30 with some difficulty. Our host offers an airport transfer service for €15. We needed it at 4:30 AM, and they were very kind and willing to help us at that early hour. To get to the Duomo in Italy, you need to take three different types of transportation. To the center of Milano, you need 2.

It's a 2 star hotel. You get what you paid for. Mattress was very bad.
Price, customer service is very good. Staff are amazing. It's very nice the option of self check-in. Very good for us because we needed something cheap close to the airport.

For few hours to wait the connection in airport- good choice. Big rooms. Good communication with the stud and good instruction to check in/out.

There are no markets near by.you cannot buy anything to drink from the hotel.

Expensive for what it offers ( 53 euros per night) No kitchen if you are looking for one. No way of arriving by public transport. No 24 hour reception.
Room is big and have private bathroom. It is located near Malpensa airport, but away from Milano. Wifi works perfectly. Self check in is easy to follow.

I was everything ok, only when i go to the bathroom and i found the toilet leaking and running water all night long, i was lucky that was a double door to close and not to hear all night the water running. Thank you

it was extremely basic accommodation. but that was what i aimed for. other than than that there is nothing to do in the area

The room had an incredible smell of cigarette even if was forbidden to smoke inside and the a/c drooled all the night!

The staff, I did my check in online, but the staff was just the best.
It’s far away, you need to drive a car or taxi, there is no public transport.

No food service but got a pizza delivered. No 24 hour reception but understand this was a 2 star hotel. Carpets were old and in need of renewing.
Expensive taxi to airport but turned up early morning at the arranged time. Room was large and clean. No 24 hour reception but I understood that late bookings can be made if hotel is informed. No food is served but can be brought in. Giuseppe was very very helpful.

we stayed in two rooms. Room 105 was nicer than 104, so bear in mind that you could get lucky or unlucky. the accomodation had a fridge, but no other facillities such as kitchen or microwave, so we were a bit puzzled what the fridge would be for other than beer. BUt we didnt even expect to find a fridge so cant complain.
the rooms were clean, the air conditioning works and parking is free. Its very close to MIlan Malpensa. It was comfortable and I have no complaints. I would say that it was a bargain.
