The house is charming, state of the art, centrally located, easy to reach by car and offers all the comforts one can wish for. Francesca welcomed us so warmly and gave us great recommendations for restaurants and all things to explore in the area. We couldn't have asked for anything more and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Asilo. Would recommend it to anyone wanting to stay in the village of Barolo. Bonus: there is even gated parking and a charger for EVs!

It had a Wow factor for unique features and customer service. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay an incredible experience. The owner(Francesca) replied promptly to any questions I had and Elisa, property manager was simply amazing.

The family who owns this hotel is extremely helpful and friendly. All the beautiful added touches makes it unique and definitely a boutique hotel. Delicious coffee , comfortable beds , and a beautiful garden to sit and enjoy the views in Barolo. Walking to everything - restaurants , shops , wineries … and plenty of parking for cars too.

We had a wonderful stay at ASILO in Barolo. The Apartment was very beautiful and big with a nice terrace overlooking the vineyards. There was Also a garden with a jacuzzi overlooking the beautiful surroundings. The Apartment was located in the centre of Barolo, with lots of nice restaurants within walking distance. Elisa was a wonderful host, she was there every day to help us with advice for good restaurants, wine tastings and she often made us cappucino with a sweet pastry. She Also brought us in contact with a nice wine maker who taught us a lot about the wines and Also loaned us electrical mountainbikes to Explore Barolo and the surrounding villages. Thank you so much for the Amazing time!

The property was beautifully located in Barolo. It’s very clean and newly renovated. We’re a family of four so we had a whole area that was connected and we were able to share the space with two bedrooms. It is in the town of Barolo, with a lovely balcony where we drank coffee and wine. It’s a special place to be. Francesca the owner, is so helpful, friendly and very generous. She was a delight to meet and we would have loved to been able to spend more time there.

Great new BnB in Barolo, just 5 min walk from the castle and Wine Museum (which is highly recommended for visit). Everything is clean, made with a good taste, the highlight was a breakfast, prepared by Francesca, made of high quality local products. And you get a free parking on a protected territory.

Wow ! What a beautiful guest house, nicely renovated with lots of personal taste and surprising details ! Francesca is a great host, always helpful and with excellent advice ! In the beautiful and quiet room with a very comfortable bed and very good WLAN, I felt like being at home ! ... and the breakfast was delicious, in particular the in house little cakes !

Everything. The design was beautiful. The bed comfortable, the bathroom clean and warm. We had access to the balcony/terrace and it is lovely. Ample parking with the added bonus of EV charging. What I believe to be truly exceptional is our host, Francesca. She gives everything to help her guests. She was able to secure a wine tasting and a tour for us. Dinner reservations to a Michelin star restaurant, and suggestions for hikes with directions. After our departure she was still helping us when we messaged her. She is an amazing woman.

Lovely apartment, recently renovated to a very high standard. Hosts were super helpful making arrangements for dinner etc. Just a 1 minute walk into centre of town.

Due to the humidity (I think) it felt a little damp in the room, I’m not sure how that is rectified. The room was lovely and the bed was comfortable. My only negative was there were only two pillows and no cover on the duvet. Most restaurants in the town are closed Monday and Tuesday even Wednesday. We did have a lovely meal at Barolanda Ristorante .

The location for Barola was perfect. Communication from the host was excellent with additional information about restaurants. Francesca the host was absolutely charming. Extremely helpful, friendly and welcoming. We saw firefly’s in the garden, a real treat! And very dog friendly which was so lovely.
