Armando was an amazing host with great stories and suggestions. The room was very cosy. The terrace is huge with an amazing view and the breakfast was great. The location is right below Etna. Grazie Armando.

Armando was really nice and gave us good tips. The view is really beautiful and we would stay here again for our next trip.

Everything went perfectly. Armando's hospitality is outstanding. The breakfast he prepared for us was perfect and entirely homemade. His advice was very helpful for visiting Etna and Taormina. The house is nice and has a beautiful view, especially at sunrise.

Silent, side road, terrace with view, Armando is a great host and man to meet.

The room is a bit dark, but no problem for short stays.

Sig. Armando is the perfect host, very knowledgeable and super friendly - trust him when he recommends a restaurant or a walk or how to get up Mount Etna. Our room and adjacent bathroom were very comfortable and clean, with proper heating - nice touch because it does get chilly at night on Mount Etna. Both well equipped. The house has a terrace facing the sea (amazing sunrise) and from the main entrance you can see the summit of Etna. Perfect location for hiking holiday and beach. There is also a shared kitchen. Parking is available off-street (it's a private road, there is plenty and it's safe). Walking distance from the town centre - beware it's hilly. Highly recommended.

Armando's house is on a hill in a quiet street. The room is large, you have a fridge, coffee maker and kettle. You can cook in the shared kitchen. Armando serves breakfast in a large dining room with a terrace overlooking the sea. The homemade jams are great! Armando will recommend beautiful places to visit! Thanks Armando!

The place is quiet and peaceful. Armando was a great host.

Armando warmly welcomed us and guided us with useful information about Mt Etna and where we could go for dinner. Breakfast was sensational...all prepared by Armando whose face lights up when serving guests. It felt like staying with family, and we loved that there were no other guests sharing the bathroom. Great value for money. Thankyou Armando!

Armando is a very nice host and overall we had a good stay. Its a good place for a quick stay while visiting the surroundings. There is street parking, no problems.

The place its a regular house, so do not expect hotel like features. We missed the TV.

Every little thing was taken care of. The apartment offers everything the guest needs. The location is also great for visiting Etna.

Room and bathroom were spacious, clean, comfortable and well equipped. There was a parking spot and city centre could be easily reached on foot. Staff was extremely nice, and accommodating.

We felt welcome from the moment we arrived - Armando already waited and helped us with parking. The room was a little cold (but we had a long flight behind us and were tired, cold was gone by mirning), but super clean, cozy and quiet. Easy to find and the view from the terrace was amazing. Armando was kind enough to give us good advice how to reach Etna and which part of it to see.

Breakfast was absolutely exceptional. Armando's hospitality and conviviality was great. Great conversationalist.

Armando's home is a perfect base for visiting Etna. It's a short drive away from the Etna South cable car station. The friendly and helpful host gives all information about options to visit the volcano park (without trying to sell any guided tours etc, which is a pleasant surprise at this sort of a location) and other places of interest. The house has a nice view to the sea (and the top of Etna in good weather).

The private bathroom outside of the room is indeed private, but it's actually outside of the room ;) The shared kitchen is also fine when you're the only guests, but if there's another party in the house it could be suboptimal.

Everything! Armando is a wonderful host. The house is clean and quiet if you are lucky enough you get to enjoy the view from the terrasse. A great place to explore the Etna.

Armando is a great guy, very welcoming and super friendly. He gave us lots of information about the area. His recommendations where to eat at night were great and we had exceptional dinners thanks to him. Very nice breakfast and you can park the car right in front. Great place to discover the Etna area. Thanks again for the wonderful stay 🤗

Excellent guidance for Etna trip. Very good breakfast. Access to shared area like kitchen.

Armando is a host with body, soul and heart. The large terrace offers a view of the sea, the rooms have everything you need (including coffee, care products...) and - which is absolutely brilliant in February - heating. It was the perfect stay and we will book with Armando again next time. Without a car, you shouldn't mind having to walk a bit.

Armando is a nice man, he met us and explained everything about the trip to Mt. Etna. The next morning he came to prepare a nice breakfast for us and we enjoyed the view from the balcony in the dining room. The house is very big, we had 2 rooms, 2 baths and the kitchen for our family of 5 people. Inside the rooms there was a heater to warm the air, tea and coffee, even slippers.

Don't remember anything we dislike.

The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood, overlooking the bay. It is very clean, room is spacious with a fridge and there is even a kitchen that can be used. Armando's is very very helpful and sweet and even gave us a lift to another city because there was no other connection. He also makes the delicious breakfast in the morning and even packed us some of the goodies to take with us. Would definitely recommend!
