We had a truly lovely stay! The room was clean, cozy, and had a balcony, which made it even more enjoyable. Breakfast was a real highlight – there was a great selection of homemade jams, including unique flavors like pomegranate and quince, as well as a delicious cake baked by the host herself. The hostess was absolutely wonderful – incredibly kind, helpful, and with an excellent knowledge of the area. She gave us great tips and made us feel warmly welcomed. We’d love to return and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Matera!

15 minutes walk to old town. Our host is a bright young lady with ambition to make you stay very comfortable and well informed. Very clean. 1A breakfast!

What was there not to like? It was great!

The place was spotless and authentic. Bed very comfortable, plenty of space in the room and private bath. Lucia is a charming and generous young woman who went out of her way to make sure all our needs were met-from giving us her own parking space to personally booking a tour of the caves in English when it seemed all the online ones were fully booked, to the incredible breakfast spread featuring her mother-in-law’s home-made preserves.

    Nothing

It was such a great room with a beautiful bathroom. The hosts Lucia and gigi were so lovely. We became good friends. They were so very warm and friendly. They gave us all local recommendations. I would say it was a true B&B experience as we got to spend one day in their home. The breakfast was out of the world. Lucia had the best breakfast spread. Phenomenal. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to all.

    Nothing

Our host was truly remarkable-- a young lady who was always eager to make sure our stay was everything we hoped. We were treated to a table full of food each morning for breakfast, most of which we had baked and prepared herself! The location was a quick five minute walk to the historic center of everything.

A clean room in a flat above a busy street. Great Host though.

The noise. We heard the neighbours quarrelling heavily twice. The street is very busy, so you hear traffic noises, cars speeding, horning, braking... With earplugs, it's ok. But don't expect quiet. It's in a block of flats, not really nice. There is no leisure / chill-out room for guests to use. So you feel confined to your bedroom. That's why we didn't want to stay another night. Shower is very small.

The Host who is really nice and helpful. She let us use the kitchen table for our dinner. The room and bathroom are extremely clean. Breakfast is big, with homemade jams and biscuits.
