Nothing bad to say about the property, unfortunately the same can not be said about the roads leading there. Many are in an appalling state; best get a rental car so you don’t have to worry about your suspension 😁. The views make up for the potholes though!

Great location off the beaten tracks, an old watermill, ancient walls, charmingly renovated, with all the luxuries of the present day. Excellent breakfast with home-made cakes and jams. A friendly host that makes you feel at home.

This was a very special place to find! We thoroughly enjoyed even just the scenic drive getting there then were thrilled with just how unique and quant this place was. What was especially remarkable was all the care the host puts into every detail for her guests though. We absolutely loved them all and felt privileged to have been treated so well! The property is a beautifully restored mill house. The bedroom and bathroom are elegant and comfortable. The host is super nice and helpful.

The pension is located in an old mill and is sensitively furnished. The area is very quiet, nestled in the middle of nature. The host is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was traditionally Italian, with cakes prepared by the host herself. There are many historical places around. The host recommended us many places to visit and where to eat.

Stayed at this beautiful place together with my film crew, we had a great time and enjoyed spending time together in the garden. Excellent, that we could bring in other crew members from another holiday home to have breakfast together. The breakfast here is extraordinary, a real treat.

Everything was perfect. This hotel is run by a family who are very attentive to details to make the vacation enjoyable and beautiful. The room has the charm of a stone house, while still being very comfortable and pleasant.

The bathroom is outside the room but not a big problem since it is exclusive to that room (other rooms have their own bathroom).

The room was beautiful, very comfortable, with tea and water available, also bathrobe. Everything is done with care and attention to detail. Cinzia Is a great host, super available, with lots of knowledge about the places around which she happily shared with us. Breakfast is delicious, varied and lots of homemade cakes and jams.

Beautiful property situated very close to Rocchetta Mattei. After a long drive it was such a peaceful place to rest. The bedding was amazing! Like sleeping in Heaven. Best bedding we’ve had on our trip so far.

Great stay in the rural part of the Apennines. If you are looking for a contrast to the hustle and noise of the Italian cities this is a great landing spot. Still enough infrastructure (restaurants, groceries, …) within short driving distance. Warm host, super helpful in providing tips for the area.

My only negative comment is that the twin bedroom that one member of our group stayed in would benefit from having a small bedside table lamp for reading.
