The room was perhaps a little bit basic. The room being on ground floor (street level) should be mentioned at booking stage - I was surprised by this and thought I would be in a different room judging by the photos at the time of booking.

Though quite difficult to find, the location is superb!

It was almost impossible to find parking around the historic center. Breakfast was a ticket to the nearest bar which was crowded. After 15 min waiting we got table outside, but if we wanted to eat inside we would have waited an hour. Breakfast consists of 1 coffee/tea, 1 pastry and 1 juice. Few things were missing in the room, like glasses, handsoap, toilet paper holder, no light in the shower. Host never showed up, though she sent very detailed instructions for check in etc. stairs to the upper floor was a challenge, especially with luggage.

The terrace was separate from the room, which wasn't clear. It was also quite dusty. We also had an issue in that our breakfast tokens were not left in the room. When I messaged the host about this, it was not rectified, so we were not able to claim our breakfasts. It was a shame as it was otherwise lovely.

Location was ace. Enjoyed having the little balcony to sit and look out over the sweet back lane where there were lots of flowering pots and baskets. The breakfast token gets you basic fare at the bar/cafe/restaurant around the corner - King Street Food - which was fine for me, but you can add more if you pay. I highly recommend the place and the room.

I was moved to a different property as they had a problem with my initial room. The new room missed key ameneties i booked for: breakfast, a window or balcony to dry my clothes (this is important when traveling to the beach..), quiet area. The room had a broken window and because of it being on the ground flor right by a busy square, it was very loud at night and sleeping was difficult.. also the main lights in the apartment did not work.. The property also deducted 60€ more from my bank account. The only “positive” aspect is that they were quick to refund it but only when i contacted them about this issue..

Right in the centre of old Monopoli, near many restaurants, and close to the sea. The location was amazing. The room was very clean and spacious. The bed was big and comfortable. The host was great at answering messages and giving instructions to access the property.

The room was a bit worn down and quite dark. There was a broken wardrobe with the shelves collapsed inside, just sitting there unused, which made the space feel neglected. We had booked the room with breakfast included, and the listing clearly stated that breakfast coupons would be provided for a nearby café. However, there were no coupons in the room upon arrival. When we asked about it, we were arrogantly told that we hadn’t paid for breakfast — even though it was clearly listed in our booking all along. Eventually, we did get our breakfast, but the whole situation unnecessarily spoiled the mood. The person we spoke to blamed a "colleague" for the misunderstanding, but the attitude and lack of ownership were disappointing.

The location of the room is very good - the heart of the old town, a few minutes from the water and all the restaurants.

Great place, great stay. We stayed 4 nights and we wish we could stay there longer! We had 2 rooms, they both were beautiful! Over expectations. Excellent localisation in the heart of beautiful Monopoli. Tasty italian breakfast in the cafe nearby, 1 minute walk. - yes, it was not the breakfast we are used to eat - it was caffe, juice and a croissant/pie, but we could feel like real Italians. Coffe was one of the best, croissant with pistaccio more than delicious. All was great. Good contact via whatsapp with the host. The only problem was to find a parking spot for our car - it was hard to find a place to park even 15-20 minutes walk from the room. Steep stairs can be a problem, but to be honest you do not go up and down with the suitcases all the time. And all the buildings there are like this and that is someting special, unique. We really recommand the place, we hope we will come back there!

Perfect place, just in the middle of the old town. I have to apreciete manager´s help - we weren´t fully satisfied with first room, problem solved imediatelly and we moved to another room with no problems. Perfect. Tasty breakfast just around the corner. Good navigation via WA to the flat, online support.

Nothing. It is almost perfect

Very nice old house in the Old Town. the first day there was a problem with the heating, the host responded immediately and I was able to change rooms. everything was very clean, there was a kettle, mineral water in the fridge, soap, clean towels. Perfect place for one to four nights.

However, the whole experience was ruined on the first night when we got back to find more than 10 small cockroaches (and even a centipede!) in our room, running between our stuff. The place was infested and we could barely sleep. Accomodation's response was checking and placing some traps the next day, but again more and more cockcroaches kept coming during the next night (we counted more than 20 in total), so again we couldn't really sleep. When looking for more bugs, we also noticed hygiene wasn't the best (there was even an old teddy bear under the bed, so who knows how long they hadn't cleaned there). The host apologized and offered to keep our luggage after checking out. Then, after complaining, they refunded 25 euros per night, which was insulting since we paid 340 euros for two nights and it was the worst experience we had with any accomodation EVER. A shame because apart from this, the room was exactly as expected, but cockroaches and the host's poor response ruined everything. It was really disgusting.

Location was perfect, breakfast was very good and we could check in earlier than expected. Good and friendly communication with the host.
