Finding the facility with the car was a bit hard. Once you new where it was it was a breeze. Free parking

Nothing wrong with the Carpe Diem, but if you are not used to the italian way of numbering houses- sometimes- it was hard to find, since number 10 in that case meant behind the row with house 5,7,9 and 15.

The apartment looks brand new and everything was spotless. I just finished a long trip (2 12 hour flights) and was very tired and had some problems with the code for the doors. But Valentina was very nice, she came over and helped me. Also the breakfast foods were refilled every day and I admit- I could have stayed longer just for the coffee. The house is not exactly in the historic center of Castel Gandolfo, but a 5 min walk is ok after a nice dinner. There are two seperate rooms in the same appartment, so its a great place if you travel alone, but probably even better if you share the whole apartment.

Valentina was an excellent host and has a lovely property. The room and common area are very pretty with every detail well thought out. It would be perfect for a family or someone needing two rooms. We were only there one night so sharing the common area worked for us and we only briefly saw the other very nice person sharing the space. It is a quick 8 minute walk to the Castel Gandolfo city center and the views are spectacular. It is also only 40-45 minutes to the FCO airport so a nice option if you have a car but need to catch a flight. We would love to stay there again and explore the surrounding area.

There was nothing we didn't like here. There is some building renovations going on at the property atm but that is nothing to do with Valentina the whole building is being done. It didn't interfere with our stay at all.

The B&B was stunning and can't fault it in anyway , Valentina was so helpful and a lovely lady as well. Her communication with us was fantastic and couldn't ask for more. Would happily stay at Carpe Diem again without hesitation and would recommend it to family and friends. The apartment is absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. Thank you Valentina xx
