Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Czech RepublicExceptionally pleasant stay. The accommodation was very elegant, stylish and perfectly clean with lovely touches of artwork. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, offering great tips and recommendations during our visit of Florence. The breakfast, served in the style of English afternoon tea, was a true highlight – homemade pastries, filled croissants, fresh fruit, juice, and delicious coffee. Thank you once again Giuseppe and Mariko for your care and hospitality. It was really pleasure to meet you!

We liked this structure and felt at home because of our host, Giuseppe and Mariko-san. The structure is a villa-style B&B with an east-facing garden where you can enjoy breakfast or simply relax and take in the fresh air. Our room is pretty clean and cozy with everything well maintained and working perfectly, which made us feel at ease especially after a tiring day in the city. The location of the hotel is close to the city center which is about a 30 min bus ride. We mainly visited Florence based on the map with routes that Giuseppe recommended. If you have a car, you can also explore more brilliant views in Sienna, Pizza, etc. Giuseppe and Mariko-san served us a full Italian-style breakfast with a genuine warmth everyday. We enjoyed it in the garden while appreciating the Tuscan landscape and sunshine, or in the tidy and fully equipped kitchen when it rained. They offered us a great amount of help, even though they didn’t have to. We arrived late the first day getting there without carrying any food. We were moved when Giuseppe kindly offered to not only translate the menu but also order the pizzas for us. Mariko-san looked up the bus timetable so that we could be well prepared the next day to Florence. What’s more, Giuseppe also set up tables with everything we needed and helped us warm up the food. Thanks to their hospitality, we had a wonderful time there. We would love to come back sometime and recommend it to our friends. Maybe next time we’ll have the chance to see Naomi in person :)

NetherlandsWe've enjoyed our time here very much; we felt at home almost immediately. The B&B is run with warmth and care, the breakfast is amazing (both the food itself and the atmosphere in the breakfast room) and the location is beautiful. From Decimo, you can easily visit all kinds of Tuscan highlights by car and the drive there is a highlight in itself (beautiful views).

RomaniaWe booked 2 rooms, the small one was a bit cold.
The location is ideal for exploring both Chianti and Florence, offering stunning landscapes and truly magical drives in every direction. Though small, the property is chic and full of charm. The owner is exceptionally helpful—his recommendations and reservations for both lunch and dinner were spot-on. He knows the area inside and out, and we really appreciated his thoughtful advice. There’s also a lovely, picturesque garden, which we unfortunately couldn’t fully enjoy due to intermittent rain. Breakfast was delightful and stood out as quite unique compared to other places we stayed.

Giuseppe and Mariko were the most welcoming hosts, who spoiled us with a breakfast out of this world every morning. Not having been familiar with the area, it was our first visit to Tuscany, they provided many recommendations on what to visit in the region and supported with tips on restaurants for the evening that we otherwise would have never found. And when we felt like wine and cheese one evening which we bought at the local market and asked to borrow some plates and knives, we find a ready set table in the garden waiting for us complete with table cloth, cutlery and crockery and wine glasses - there was even a vase with fresh flowers on the table - attention to detail everywhere. The facility/rooms provide everything you require, it is neat and clean and daily maintained. Secure parking is on site for your car (your own/rented car is recommended for the visit to explore the region). Downtown Firenze is only some 12/13 km away, Siena about 50 km and Pisa 100 km away, all comfortable distances for daily excursions to the main attractions in the region besides the Tuscan countryside which is worth many visits. Giuseppe and Mariko are truly excellent hosts and we recommend a stay without hesitation.

United StatesIf you are looking for the perfect B&B, B&B Casa Decimo is the place for you! We were greeted by Guiseppe who is the consummate host-- friendly and knowledgeable about the area along with Mariko who is not only lovely as well, but bakes amazing breakfast treats. When she learned that I was diabetic, the next day there was avocado toast on rye bread with perfectly cooked eggs! The room was so comfortable, really lovely, the shower great, and the backyard overlooked a gorgeous vista with many chairs to sit and relax. Guiseppe suggested 3 restaurants that were superb, and on a day that we were not going into Florence, gave us a list of towns to visit. We only have great things to say about the place and its incredible hosts! If you are in the area, stay here for sure!

BulgariaNothing! We had an amazing stay.
We recently stayed at Casa Decimo during our trip through Italy, and it was everything we hoped for and more. We were looking for an authentic Tuscan experience, staying in a small village home, and Casa Decimo delivered in every way. The location is perfect—within an easy 1-hour drive to charming towns and only 10-15 km from Florence. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Waking up to beautiful views and enjoying a leisurely breakfast in the serene atmosphere was the perfect way to start each day. And that breakfast—it's worth visiting Casa Decimo for that alone! We had a great experience, made even better by the helpful tips on local restaurants and places to visit provided by our hosts. A heartfelt thanks to Giuseppe and Mariko for welcoming us into their beautiful house and making us feel at home.

Exceptional experience! Highest compliments to Guiseppe and his wife Mariko san during our stay at Casa Decimo B&B. His daughter Naomi has created a beautiful atmosphere with an amazing breakfast including home baked pastries and a host of savory items. We cannot thank you enough for welcoming us to your beautiful home that was exactly as it was described as well as your wonderful recommendations of wineries and restaurants that avoided tourist traps and which never disappointed. A special shoutout to Naomi… We hope you had a well deserved holiday. Your father did an amazing job! We cannot speak highly enough. 10/10. Thanks again. Chris, Amaya, Roland, and Quincy.

ItalyVery nice and pleasant experience at Casa Decimo in the hills of Florence, about 30 minutes form the centre of Florence and 20 minutes from the Villa Costanza Parking (from where you can catch a tram to the centre of Florence) by car along a pleasant hilltop drive. Hosts are very professional and interesting with lots of stories to keep any traveller amused and happy. Room was lovely, very clean and large. Breakfast in the garden was exceptional with fresh products only baked by the Hosts and by the local pastry shop. Free parking is a bonus as well as preparing a breakfast pack for my early departure on check out. The accommodation is located near some very nice restaurants and the Owner can also make reservations for you at the top restaurants in the area. Will definitely stay again.
