Very central. Easy walk to the city center. The parking was perfect, inside one locked gate. The host was very nice, giving some good tips! The air con worked very well. The bathroom is small, but very functional and new. The breakfast is Italian style.

We liked everything in the apartment. It is just next to the old city walls and the old town. The room was well equipped and we had all we needed for our stay. The owner was really helpful with information what to see in Lucca and around the city, and also suggested wonderful places to eat. Well worth a visit and we will come back again!

Very small bathroom and no fridge in the room.

Location was perfect as it was a 7 minute walk to the centre. Supermarket right next door was convenient. Air-conditioning worked well as it was 35 degrees during our stay. Beds were comfortable and nice breakfast . The host was helpful with local knowledge.

My room was closest to the front of the property, from which it is possible to hear the main road outside. It didn't bother me too much but is worth noting for light sleepers, especially if you were to keep the window open.

A true BnB with very helpful and accommodating host. There are only a few rooms and I didn't hear anything from the other rooms during my stay. Good sized room with a modern and well-equipped bathroom. It was exactly as advertised in the photos. Breakfast available in the room with all the typical Italian items. Everything was very clean and in good condition. The bed is comfortable and extra pillows and sheets were easily available. Very nice garden also. Well-located directly next to a supermarket and within a five minute walk of two entrances to the walled city.

There are many positive things! The friendliness and attention of the owners at Ck-in, explaining everything about the city of Lucca,the excellent facilities of the room, the amenities in the bathroom, the cleanig, the bedding of great comfort, the coffee with the toast, the location overlooking the walls of the citadel, the proximity of going within walking distance to all the interesting points. It was one of the great experiences in the time I was in Lucca! Grazie Mille for everything!

If you are used to a bustling B & B versus one where you do your own thing, this might not suit you. It did not bother me that they're was no desk attendant 24 his because it's a home and I wanted quiet on a holiday. It was a bit cold and the bathroom, although huge, it's through a little, darkened hallway. There is a dryer, but no plugs in the bathroom and only one plug in the bedroom took both of my international plugs. The secund one only took an old int'l plug for some reason. The layout was fine with 2 beds, but moving the breakfast area and it being the only desk to the plug area and moving the bed toward the window might make sense since you have to put plugged in items on the bed to charge. The bed had a gap next to the wall that did not work for me, but it's not an issue for most people. To be fair, when asked about everything, I did not discuss anything with the owner, but did tell him everything was fine and I did enjoy my stay. Any residual discomfort in my stay had everything to do with the time of year and my own loneliness. I think it soaks volumes that I wanted to stay in one day and just watch Netflix on my tablet target than go out. This is not something I have ever felt like doing in a hotel.

The owner was very kind and immediately mapped out the city sites, explained everything, and was available when needed (even on a holiday) and helped arrange a very early taxi pickup for me. The place is conveniently located,extremely quiet, despite being on a busy road, and very clean. Tasty treats awaited with coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom is huge. I liked have a cozy quilt to use since I never lay under the sheets. The pillow was nice. Being able to leave the keys and leave is a special kind of trust and shows the owner's character. He and another young lady were exceptionally kind and it's clear this is an establishment that will grow a strong following over time. It's a unique experience. They're is a very nice tv, but I did not watch it

Everything was great. The building might feel old but is very well equiped.

Great location, safe parking, easy access, facilities and value for money. Owner lives near by and offered great reccomendations for day trips, traditional restaurants and activities in and aorund Lucca. the building has a traditional italian home feeling with a great garden with parking in backyard.

From the beginning it was clear that this would be an exceptional stay. The owner produced a map of the city and went through all the aspects of the city that were worth seeing. He also gave us tips regarding where to eat. His knowledge of his beloved city was inspirational and his presentation a 'masterclass'. The room was really nice, very clean and the bathroom was excellent. The breakfast, eaten in the room, was simple, but very nice with a coffee machine that made marvellous coffee. The room was 'refreshed' every day and clean bed linen and towels produced every two days. The location of the B&B was perfect. There was a large supermarket on one side and a car hire on the other. A bus stopped outside. There was a delightful walk across a park to the entrance through the city walls into the centre, five minutes from the B&B. Our host, Gualtiero, could not have been more helpful, but also stayed in the background except when needed. I would recommend this B&B one hundred per cent. The price was also very competitive. Thank you.

Very convinient location and comfortable room. Superclean, Excellent communication from owner, good tips for first time city visit. Walking distance to Lucca city center, supermarket close by. All is needed to enjoy a stay. On my list for a future Lucca visits.
