Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesThe only thing I might recommend is for the TV to have a Netflix of streaming service. But I didn’t mind at all - actually, it was nice to disconnect from TV and have time to relax and read more books. Also, keep in mind this is more of a small town feel, so restaurants are largely closed on Sundays. Plan accordingly with bringing some groceries or snacks.
This is the best B&B I’ve stated at in my life! It is superb. Yes it is a long drive to get to as it is at the end of the peninsula, but it is worth it to enter this paradise. The B&B is in a beautiful location surrounded from all sides with views of the water. It is a short walk down the winding cove to the beach and restaurants. The sunset is absolutely spectacular. The house is stunning and beautiful decorated. The design makes you feel like you’re in a small seaside villa, and the outdoor space and rooms were so comfortable and magnificent. I was shocked at how huge my room was! The huge bathroom with a whirlpool tub was so relaxing in the evening. The bed is the most comfortable bed I’ve stayed in. The room has AC so it’s lovely to cool down after a hot day swimming outside. The breakfast was large with many options and accommodating my gluten allergy. They had gluten free options and the presentation was beautiful. I was there for my birthday and my family was able to arrange a flower delivery for me during breakfast time on the terrace. Everything was so special and delicious. Staff were very helpful and friendly, making me feel right at home. I highly recommend the restaurant at the fancy hotel just five minutes up the road for sunset. The food was delicious, reasonable priced, and the views were jaw dropping. I was so sad to leave here that I extended my stay one extra night! I highly recommend and hope to be back one day.

United StatesBacoli is a FAR trip from the airport. Expect a hefty taxi fare. It is also a bit of a walk to the inner town of Bacoli and options for public transportation. The place we stayed at was GREAT, but the location isn't ideal for the first time traveler to Napoli/Italy.
The hotel itself was great! Francesca and her staff were friendly and helpful with making us feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious (provide notice the night prior!), and the shower/tub was cozy and ideal for romantic relaxations

United KingdomNothing.
We did not expect the level of detail in the design of the B&B. The terrace where we had breakfast is absolutely beautiful, not to mention the panorama it offers, with Versuvio directly in front. Comfortable room, lovely breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, what more can you ask for?

CanadaI wasn’t sure how to make the airflow work at first but as soon as I did it was marvellous.
The Roman wall built into the room. Close by walking trails.

United StatesDea Fortuna is sort of 'off the beaten path', though it is very close to the beach. This is what we wanted, so it was perfect for us But if you want easy access to Bacoli center or Naples, that is somewhat less convenient.
Breakfast was amazing pastries and cappuccinos every day, plus whatever else we wanted cooked. Rooms were spectacular--so unique and beautifully decorated. Staff were incredibly accommodating. What a find! We would stay here again and again!

EstoniaThe breakfast only included bread options. As someone who cannot eat white flour, I had no choice but to only drink coffee. Maybe eggs or yogurt could be some alternatives.
Very beautiful, stylish, interesting place. Quiet and isolated, good for private rest. The jacuzzi itself is a work of art. The staff is kind and helpful.

United StatesMake sure you get the address correct from the hosts. Google sent me up in the hills with tiny 1 way streets
This was the nicest place we stayed out of 5-6 hotels in Europe. We upgraded to a large room which is basically in a cave with a huge shower and bed. The family working there is so nice and helpful. Good value + free parking

Stunning location and comfortable room! Everything was spotless and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. Priceless the breakfast on the fantastic terrace looking at the Vesuvio.

Germanycompletely satisfied stay!!! The Host is very nice and helpful. Because of our late arrival he managed a pick up service at airport with a reasonable price. And on the next day he drove us to airport to get a rentcar. On the way to airport he showed us also some interesting locations. Thank you again! - breakfast on the terrace with a wonderful view. - nice and clean room with relaxation jacuzzi - quiet location for optimal relaxation, but you need a car to explore the napoli region.

GermanyIn the description we read seaview, which was not quite right, this must be the other room, but of the end of the day, it doesn´t matter, cause we had breakfast on the terrace and had the most amazing view ever.
The suite was a dream come true, the bathroom was exceptional , unfortunately we couldn´t try the whirlpool, but taking a shower was an event for itself. There was a kitchenette with a filled minibar and a coffee machine with pads. The living room was like a ballroom. The bed extremely comfy and big. The lights were so fantastic, so cosy and decorated with a great taste. One morning we had to get up very early and breakfast was served in the room and it was nice to have a sort of bar table to enjoy it there. I think it is one of a kind and I highly recommend it for honeymooners and of course everyone else.
