Nothing at all – everything was perfect.

I recently stayed at Dimora Palmeiri B&B (August 25th to 31st) and what can I say… everything was excellent! The room was spotless and well maintained, the bed extremely comfortable, the Wi-Fi perfect, and the breakfast both delicious and generous — and it’s brought right to you! There’s a healthy selection, savory options (cold cuts, cheese, bruschetta), and sweet treats with the wonderful homemade pastries prepared by Maria. To finish, the Italian coffee made by Filippo — simply the best cappuccino in the world! The hosts truly go above and beyond, providing great recommendations (sightseeing, excellent restaurants, and the best beaches) from day one. Finally, the property is ideally located in the heart of the historic center and close to the beach. I would be delighted to return!

We liked everything. Maria and Filippo were super hosts: Friendly, always attentive and caring. From the start they gave us a warm welcome and they provide us a map and told us all the important things to do in Monopoli., The room was beautiful, clean and really well decorated. You have easy access to the terrace to wash your towels and sun dry it. Plus they have chairs and tables to enjoy the view and rest a bit. The breakfast was the best we had in our vacation, Filippo breakfast started with some local meats and cheese, yogurt, fruits and more. Then he treat us with some handmade traditional sweets from Italy that were delicious. He makes a wonderful cappuccino! The best in the world! We had an awesome vacation and we will come back to stay at the B&B again!

Most fantastic B&B we ever stayed at! The room (relax not standard) was so beatiful with access to roof terrace. Filipo served a Great breakfast every morning. Cleaning Lady was very Nice and cleaned every day. We stayed 11 days and can highly recommend Filipo and Marias B&B. Best ever! ❤️

One of the best vacations we’ve ever had. Everything was perfect - location, accommodation, very hospitable hosts - Filippo and Maria. Filippo himself served breakfast every day in the courtyard. The room was spacious and perfectly clean. We had the access to the terrace on the roof with nice view on the old town and the sea!

One of the most cosy, romantic and so natural B&B we've ever been. It is in the historical heart of the old town but still so quiet. Very, very clean and tidy. On the top you have a roof top terrace where you can enjoy the evening. You wake up with the bells from the churches /and they are a lot in Monopolli/. Breakfast is served by Filippo, the owner and each morning you have homemade cake and cookies. Very good recommendations for restaurants and the beaches in the area.

Maria and Fillpo were the most amazing hosts! Kind, informative and so very helpful. A beautiful breakfast was set out every morning, on our last day we had to leave early and they packed us biscuits and homemade cake to take with us. The location was awesome, close to everything but it is 20-25 minutes from train with bags.

We loved everything!

The apt was amazing! It was a perfect blend of ancient stonework with modern facilities. Breakfast was beautifully prepared and presented by most charming and convivial host including freshly baked homemade cakes by Maria , our landlady. Breakfast set us up for perfect days. A must visit.

Philip & Maria were our hosts & oh my god!!! They felt like family!!! Philip makes THE BEST cappuccino in the world for us everyday & Maria bakes fresh cakes! They were so very helpful with everything, from making us understand the parking to staying up for us till late when we checked in around 10 pm. They made sure we feel more than welcomed! They were so very kind to upgrade our room for free & the room was so huge it felt like living in a royal suite!! Even when we were checking out & couldn’t have breakfast, Philip had packed cakes & coffee for us so that we could have it on our way! The most generous & kind hosts I’ve ever come across!

Its location to the beach is lovely! It is also surrounded by nice shops and very nice restaurants! What is the loveliest, our host Maria and Patrick, they were exceptional! Prompt with responses, good with their recommendations but most importantly, the breakfast they made every morning was 11/10! Look at Patrick’s one and only Cappuccino, out of the world! The home made orange cake Maria served us was to yearn for, we could safely say, we made changes to our departing schedules so that we can enjoy the lovely breakfast in their courtyard for one last time! Thank you for everything !

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B in Monopoli. Maria and Filipe were fantastic hosts - their cappuccinos are truly the best in town! Maria's warm welcome made us feel right at home. Our room was spotless, clean, and very comfortable. Breakfast prepared by Felipe was delicious, especially the homemade baking - a lovely touch. If you have any mobility issues, please be sure to let the B&B know about it in advance. There are a number of stairs to climb on most of their rooms and getting around the old city with large suitcases is tough.

I wasn’t aware that Monopoli had an “old city” — which is a large area that has the seafront. Once I got off the train in Monopoli I took a cab to the start of the old town - taxis and rental cars are not allowed into the old city - and then had to wheel my bags over the stone streets looking for the B&B. It was challenging, to say the least but it is a stunning city with narrow, cobbled streets hosting stores, restaurants, bars, etc. The DiMora B&B sits right in the middle of the best parts of the old city. Their welcome is genuine and they bend over backwards to make you feel at home. My room (traveling solo) was a gorgeous, high ceilings room with a small balcony. Everything was immaculately clean. The Wi-Fi was great and breakfast each morning was outstanding. A mix of local baked goods, cereals, fruits, yogurts and truly the best cappuccino!
