How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

The Location is very good. Quiet but central. The room had a good size and was very clean. The bed is comfortable. We even had a Balcony which we loved. Simone was easily reachable and super attentive. Definitely recommended

We’ve visited Due Passi in July and stayed for almost one week. I highly recommend this b&b. The localisation in the city center is great not only if you want to feel the spirt of Palermo but you also if you want to get to the beach easily with the bus as the stop is 3 minutes from the apartment. We were impressed by the host who was always open to tell us about the city and places worthy seeing. Simone is really helpful and makes everything so as you can feel like home. Rooms are cleaned every day so it was always a pleasure to come back to the apartment after whole day. Breakfast was always full of delicious food and fresh fruits. There is no better combination than real Italian cappuccino with pistachio croissant :)

Honestly could find anything wrong with due Passi. We actually stayed there twice on the same trip. Thank you Simone.
Our host Simone was extremely helpful answering our questions and concerns. The location was amazing. Everything is a short walking distance and and the shopping and restaurants were in abundance. Overall this location was perfect!! Sharon and Charlie

Simone was very welcoming and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean and the B&B is in a great central location. We would definitely reccomend the Due Passi B&B, Thanks for a great stay ☀️

Nothing. The hosts are wonderful people and spoilt me
Everything was perfect. Very lovingly decorated and the room was very comfortable and within walking distance to everything. Restaurants and sightseeing all a skip away. Parking was a bit tricky but there are always free spots. It was the Easter weekend.

Nothing, all was great!
We had a wonderful stay! The location was excellent - close to everything we needed. The room was spacious and comfortable, the breakfast, though simple, had everything we needed to start our day right. We will truly miss beautiful Palermo, but even more so Simone’s delicious cappuccinos each morning. Thank you, Simone, for your warm hospitality and for making our stay so enjoyable!

I loved the personal care and the welcome and help of Simone and his mother, who provided a beautiful smile and a lovely breakfast during my stay. The B & B is small and private, which is ideal if you are a solo traveller. The location was ideal for a city break and easily accessible for the airport shuttle service. I know why it is always booked during the peak seasons. I would highly recommend Due Passi B & B, if you want to experience Sicilian hospitality at its finest. Thank you very much for having me as a guest, Simone.

Everything was as it should - location - close to the main points by foot but to the bus as well, breakfast, comfortable bed, cleaniness and the most important: very kind and lovely host. Simone makes the atmosphere and his tips are priceless. Thank you!

Everything - The bedroom & bathroom are spotless and kept extremely clean throughout your stay. Rooms are well equipped with everything you might need and, despite being located in the very centre of Palermo, the rooms are fairly quiet also at night. Simone is a very friendly and attentive host and is always happy to assist. Highly recommended!

Location was a cross between South Beach, Florida and Fifth Avenue, NY. The building was very modern and clean and a great location. Our host was very helpful and was there to check us in early. The breakfast was plentiful and he left coffee in our room for our early departure the next day. He arranged the taxi too.
